Fanti

I recently had the displeasure of watching the Vietnamese movie "Fanti," and unfortunately, it was yet another example of the poor quality that seems to plague many Vietnamese films. This movie epitomized the recurring issues that have come to define the local film industry, leaving me thoroughly unimpressed.

First and foremost, the production values were abysmal. The cinematography was amateurish at best, with poorly framed shots and lackluster visual composition. It felt as if the filmmakers had little understanding of how to utilize the camera to create visually appealing and captivating scenes. The overall visual experience was underwhelming and failed to engage the audience.

Furthermore, the acting was subpar across the board. The performances lacked depth and authenticity, with actors delivering their lines in a stilted and unnatural manner. It seemed as though the cast was simply going through the motions without fully embodying their characters or conveying genuine emotion. This lack of talent and commitment from the actors only further detracted from the movie's already weak storyline.

Speaking of the storyline, "Fanti" suffered from a convoluted and poorly executed plot. The narrative lacked coherence and failed to provide a compelling arc for the characters. It felt as though the script was hastily put together without much thought given to character development or engaging storytelling. The result was a confusing mess that left me disconnected and uninterested in the fate of the characters.

Moreover, the pacing of the film was excruciatingly slow. Scenes dragged on unnecessarily, adding little to the overall narrative. It seemed as though the director had no understanding of pacing or how to maintain the audience's attention. I found myself constantly checking my watch, longing for the movie to reach its conclusion.

Regrettably, "Fanti" is just another addition to the long list of disappointing Vietnamese films that fail to meet even the most basic standards of quality. It is disheartening to see such potential squandered due to poor production values, lackluster performances, and weak storytelling. I can only hope that the Vietnamese film industry will invest more in improving these fundamental aspects and deliver movies that truly captivate and inspire their audience. Until then, I cannot recommend "Fanti" or any other Vietnamese film of its kind.

Unbelievable, This movie is pretty great, the best movie i've ever watched, the intense scene, the plot twist scene, ah everything's great!!! I can't even predict the plot because this movie has a lot of plot twist, and it's great, starting from the main character's story building and the conflict building to reach its climax, it's fast and slow pace and the actor who have the role as Anh Duong is super duper great! She really nailed her role, and i was super scared when it reached to the climax scene, it's so intense and kind of fun to watch, definitely infinity/10, must watch! 🙃 (movie ref) lol.
