This was painfully bad. The "plot" is extremely hard to follow and does not really make much sense whatsoever. This film is essentially following A woman who wake up in a bed next to a dead man and don't remember how she got there. The entire theater groaned when everyone thought the film ended and it continued on to another scene and some even left prior. I do find it hard to believe that this was enjoyed by people because it is one of the worst things I have ever watched. I wanted to leave the theater but I was with a group of people and we decided to stick it out. I would not ever recommend anyone watch this pointless nothing film. Very grueling to sit through because of how horrendously bad it was.
The writing is soo bad. I just can't believe it was made into a movie. Watched on Hulu spontaneously. At first I thought it was bad acting. And maybe it is but hard to tell with that script. Please, whoever greenlit this crap, don't make anymore. I don't usually do Lifetime or Hallmark movies because I know the story is usually the same. Honestly did not realize this was a Lifetime. Yeah ill admit it, this film was not as bad as others ive seen. Of course the acting is not great, espeically from our detective character who does neither feel or look like he would be one. Casey hodge on the other hand I felt was belivable and her acting has something that could be further explored. She plays alyssa. A woman that wakes up in a bed she dosnt recognise and does not at first relize the man she is in bed with is dead. Instead of telling the cops she goes to friend cindy for help for some reason which makes her more suspicious then she should. So alyssa tries to be her own detective and does a better job at it. I mean this film was not the worst really and credit where credit is due casey hodge was godo.
Did these actors get paid? If so how can I land a role, where all I have to do is practice my gasp 😮 and then switch back to an emotionally deadpan face. Oh and the mom jeans!
Acting was harmed in this movie from the first word spoken.
The plot makes very little sense, the actors are - I'm not sure there is really a word for it. I will watch a ridiculous Lifetime movie as a guilty pleasure every now and again, and there are some really awful ones out there. This one was not even fun to make fun of. Don't waste and hour and 25 min of your life on this one.
This may actually be the worst thing I have ever watched in my life.

I watched this movie the other day and thought it was just OK. I think the acting was just fine (about what you'd expect from a lifetime movie) but nothing to write home about. I didn't really understand some of the plot points (or plot holes), like the two women's motives (Cindy and the other character, I forget who). I think the movie was overall forgettable: not amazing, not horrible. Definitely could have used another round of editing the script. One Night Stand Murder can be skipped, or maybe watch it while you're cooking dinner, but I wouldn't cancel plans to stay in for a movie night to watch this.

- GoofsWhen Cindy gave Keller her card, the last part of her email address was the name/initials of her law firm and ".org". It should've been ".com" or something else other than "org", which is only for use "org" by non-profit organizations. Law firms would never end in ".org".
