Shout Studios has unveiled the official trailer for the film titled Just Breathe, a "tense, emotionally charged thriller" being released direct-to-vod next month. It is also the feature directorial debut of filmmaker Paul P. Pompa III, telling the rivarly story of a criminal released from prison and his very suspicious parole officer. Nick sets out to reunite with the love of his life after a year in jail for assault, only to discover that she has a new admirer named Chester who also happens to be his parole officer. After getting out of prison, Nick Bianco is ready to rebuild his life and rekindle an old flame. But when he discovers Chester is after the same woman, a dangerous rivalry ignites... one that could cost him his freedom all over again. This "fast-paced" film stars Kyle Gallner vs Shawn Ashmore, with E'myri Crutchfield and William Forsythe.

Coachella is known for hosting some of the biggest headliners for music festivals, but they also find room for more unique acts. Eddie Vedder has opened up about Pearl Jam’s recent health scare, which forced the band to cancel a handful of tour dates in London and Berlin last week.

“Can I just say that the last week, it almost felt like a near-death experience,” an emotional Vedder said. “It was very uncomfortable, and it got frightening. It felt like chest bronchitis. An adaptation of Judith Sanders’s novel scripted by Steven Jon Whritner, the film centers on a repressed ICU nurse (Ashmore) volunteering as a reader for a recovering coma patient (Dillahunt), the prime suspect in the savage murders of six young women in a small southwestern town. Not every TV and film production will stop amid dual strikes by SAG-AFTRA and the Writers Guild of America. A host of projects stopped work after writers went on strike against media companies for better pay, streaming data transparency and protections against artificial intelligence (among other issues), and many more have paused since actors walked out on July 14.

There are exceptions, however. SAG-AFTRA’s strike rules allow for work on productions covered under different agreements, and the union can grant waivers or sign interim agreements with independent productions.
