The Flash's Supergirl is set to spring into action in an upcoming Netflix crime thriller. Former DC Extended Universe actor Sasha Calle lands a role in Ben Affleck and Matt Damon's upcoming film, Rip.

According to Deadline, Calle has joined Rip in an undisclosed role. Calle is one of multiple new additions to the Rip cast, with b, who also recently joined Hulu's pending legal drama, All's Fair, has also been confirmed for the Netflix movie.

Oscar nominee Juliette Lewis has finally addressed her surprise exit from Yellowjackets after two seasons. Lewis had portrayed the role of adult Natalie Scatorccio in the acclaimed Showtime series.

During a recent interview with Variety, Lewis opened up about her fan-favorite characters shocking death during the Yellowjackets Season 2 finale, which saw Christina Riccis Misty accidentally killing Natalie with a lethal injection. Lewis shared that she kind of already knew that her character wouldnt go beyond two seasons. Despite this, she expressed her excitement about what they got in store for Yellowjackets Season 3. "I very much knew. I think Im good for a series for two seasons. Its a different kind of work. So what do I want to say? I cant wait to see the third season. I think the writing team is so phenomenal. They had many storylines that were always to be realized, and so thats what theyre doing.

“The Righteous Gemstones” star Tony Cavalero has joined the cast of “Lips Like Sugar,” a crime thriller set during the 1984 summer Olympics Games in Los Angeles, starring Woody Harrelson and Owen Wilson.

Cavalero is best known for his breakout performance as Keefe, the lovable ex-Satanist turned fan-favorite mullet man, in Danny McBride’s cult hit HBO series. “The Righteous Gemstones” was renewed for a fourth season last July.

With “Lips Like Sugar,” Cavalero joins a buzzy ensemble which also includes Oscar nominee Juliette Lewis, Sasha Calle, Kathryn Newton and Erin Moriarty. Harrelson and Wilson star as detectives John Carr and Phil Harris, a pair of homicide cops working to solve a possible serial killer case while police and city officials demand that all murders in L.A. be labeled “missing persons” for the duration of the games.

Owen Wilson Golf Comedy Drives to Series Order at Apple TV+

Apple TV+ is taking a shot at another sports-related comedy.

The streamer behind Ted Lasso has placed a series order for a show starring Owen Wilson as a former pro golfer who needs to get his life back in order. The Loki star will also be an executive producer of the untitled series, which comes from Apple Studios and creator Jason Keller (Ford v. Ferrari).

Wilson will play Pryce Cahill, whose golf career ended prematurely 20 years ago. After he gets fired from his job at a sporting goods store in Indiana and his wife leaves him, Pryce sees a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom as his way back.

The series seems to echo Ted Lasso in its sports-world setting and the possibility of a redemption arc for its main character. It will join a comedy roster at Apple TV+ that also includes Shrinking, Platonic, Loot and the upcoming Palm Royale.

Owen Wilson is taking to the golf course for a comedy series for Apple TV+.

The Royal Tenenbaums and Loki star is to star in and exec produce an untitled series for the streamer. It comes from Ford v Ferrari writer Jason Keller.

Wilson will star as Pryce Cahill, an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed prematurely 20 years ago. After he gets fired from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store and his wife walks out on him, Pryce hedges his bets entirely on a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom.

Wilson is a known golf fan and regularly turns up to PGA events.

Keller, who has also written movies including Escape Plan and Machine Gun Preacher, created, wrote and exec produced the ten-part series.

It will be produced by Apple Studios and directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris.

Los Angeles, July 25 (Ians) Hollywood actor Owen Wilson was disappointed not to share any scenes with Jamie Lee Curtis on ‘Haunted Mansion’.

The 54-year-old ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ star features in the new Disney movie as priest Kent, but lamented shooting his scenes separately from the ‘Halloween’ actress who stars as the floating head in a crystal ball Madame Leota.
