So glad to see Tomba make a return in 2024. Never thought this day would come. But here it is. And they even included some extra never before seen art and more. I really enjoyed playing through this game again as an adult. And when I was a kid it was my all time favourite game on the PlayStation 1. Now I get to revisit my childhood game once more. So thank you! Even better I have a child of my own who I will get to play this game. And hopefully a whole new generation will get to enjoy this gem that went unappreciated in its time. Probably because it was ahead of its time. I do hope that maybe one day we will get all the extra content added that was lost due to the game being rushed out. But that's just wishful thinking. I also eagerly await Tomba 2! And who knows...if these games sell well enough. We may even see a Tomba 3?

Let's Start off positive, the ideas behind the game and the character design is wonderful, I think it's such a cute and unique game, That's still holds up today in that aspect.
And the music is such an earworm, it has been stuck in my head forever. Because I played it on ps1 as child, it has never left me.
But I realized today. I would never have beaten this game, as a child because this gameplay is insane, in how much fetch Quest There is. How much talking and just work you have to do to find all of these hidden items it is insanity.
And the platforming is just brutal and with the live system that is in this game, I would have destroyed the disk as a child. That only reason I could do beat this today was because of the Rewind feature in the special edition.
I would classify this as a walkthrough Game because I would never have gotten through it without it, or I would head used so much time that I would have hated the game in the last hours.
But now I can close the book on this childhood game, I've always wondered how the ending went and how the last levels of the game was. Now I have my answers even if I am furious.
It is a childhood favorite that I hate to play.
