Loved the movie - was fortunate enough to go to the premiere . Showcases the Hervey Bay region of Australia beautifully and has a fun, light heated plot with some very funny moments . As a local it was lovely to see so many aspects of our region in the movie including the beautiful K'gari ( previously Fraser Island) and our lovely Hervey Bay . The characters were well portrayed and the necessary gay male friend was such good fun . We were lucky enough to meet the male romantic lead who allowed us all to have photos with him and was so lovely and approachable. Would recommend for a great girls night out - or in !!
'He Loves Me Not' has all the ingredients to becomes an Aussie classic. Great characters played by brilliant actors, a funny script and storyline, amazing footage of K'Gari and the Hervey Bay region, plus a superb soundtrack featuring songs by talented local musical Emma Newman. It's funny, romantic and totally enjoyable - exactly what a RomCom should be.
Apparently my review is too short to publish, so here's more. I certainly hope this film is shown not just nationwide, but worldwide. It's a great escape from all the nasties going on in the world, and the pressures in our lives. We all dream of living on an island, basking in the sunshine, and being served cocktails by the pool. 'He Loves Me Not' is not only a great showcase of the Fraser Coast region, but it reminds us to chill out and not take things too seriously. You'll leave the cinema with a great big smile on your face!

He Loves Me Not is set on the breathtaking island of K'Gari and showcases the Fraser Coast region beautifully. Lincoln Lewis (Adam) is the perfect leading man - he's charismatic, funny and to quote Mikey, "have you seen his abs?" Leading lady, Rhiannon Fish (Holiday) is brilliant in this role with her comedic timing and raw emotion taking audiences on an emotional journey throughout the film. Sean Miguel Perez (Mikey) is a crowd favourite with his ability to leave everyone in stitches every time he comes on the screen. The entire cast is brilliant - Bonnie Sveen (Tracey) is the ultimate mean girl. And Jeremy Sanford (Gatsby Jackson) is hilarious as a slightly smarmy reality show host.
The song choices for the film were also magnificent. It was wonderful to see (and hear) Fraser Coast musician Emma Newman on the big screen with her songs, 'I Won't Let You Fall' and '29 Letters' fitting beautifully into the movie. Gaudion's song 'Hazel' and Mayah's 'Loved & Lost' were also perfect for the setting.
If you love romantic comedies, this movie is for you. I would go so far as to say this is the BEST Australian romcom I have ever seen. 10/10.
