Disney+ Korean drama Hyper Knife, starring actress Park Eun-bin and actor Sul Kyung-gu, will release on the platform on March 19.

The medical crime thriller tells the story of Jeong Se-ok (played by Park), a formerly successful neurosurgeon who works as a shadow doctor in an underground surgery clinic after being expelled by her mentor, Choi Deok-hee (played by Sul). Soon, both doctors reunite, reigniting a tense and emotional rivalry.

Park previously starred in hit drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo as well as Castaway Diva, and told Deadline that she enjoyed learning about medical practices and procedures while on the set of Hyper Knife.

“We had a medical professor on the shoot all the time and we were coached about the medical directions and procedures, which was a very new and creative experience,” says Park. “I got to look through microscopes and brain models during the shoot.”

Actress Park Eun Bin has reunited with director Yoo In-shik, with whom she previously worked in ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’, for an upcoming superhero K-Drama titled ‘The B Team’. According to a report from Star News, Park Eun Bin, who is known for her roles in ‘Castaway Diva’ and ‘Hot Stove League’, among others, will portray the female lead in the upcoming K-Drama ‘The B Team’, reports koreaboo.com.

‘The B Team’ revolves around individuals possessing superpowers but struggling to control them at will.

The concept originates from the intellectual property (IP) of the late renowned writer and former head of Marvel Comics, Stan Lee, and was initially pitched six years ago as a show depicting the emergence of Asian superheroes.

Despite Stan Lee’s passing in 2018, his IP remains influential in the comic community.

Park Eun Bin will portray Eun Chae Ni, the granddaughter of the owner of the Big Hand Restaurant.

Park Eun Bin is currently making all the waves after the success of Netflix’s Castaway Diva. The incredibly talented actress, known for her critically acclaimed performances in shows like The Extraordinary Attorney Woo and My Dearest, recently revealed that she took inspiration from Taylor Swift and Iu for her performance in her latest K-drama. Castaway Diva, which recently concluded with a high viewership rating, is currently one of the top 10 trending shows on Netflix globally. The story follows Seo Mok-ha (Park Eun-bin), a girl who dreams of becoming a diva, or K-pop idol. After winning a Ucc competition, she embarks on a journey to Seoul to appear in an audition; however, she gets stranded on an uninhabited island due to an unfortunate accident.

Turns out, it wasn’t much of a challenge at all.

“Squid Game: The Challenge” dominated Netflix’s overall leaderboard in its debut week, when it drew 20.1 million views. The unscripted competition series picked up where the I.P. left off in 2021, bumping Part 1 of “The Crown’s” sixth season to second place (8.8 million views) for the week of November 20, 2023.

“Squid Game: The Challenge,” filmed in the UK, is an English-language series; Og “Squid Game” was a Korean-language series dubbed into local languages. As such, the scripted show technically rests atop Netflix’s “Non-English” list, though it blows away all the English-language stuff anyway.

“The Challenge” was so big it brought “Squid Game” back to the Global Top 10 for non-english series — at no. 6 with 1.6 million views — its 21st appearance. The scripted show hadn’t made the list since the week ending June 19, 2022. The long Thanksgiving holiday weekend sure helped the streams pile up.

Netflix has its A-game on when it comes to Korean dramas, as it releases a new fantastic show, or at least, an addicting one, on a weekly basis. Recently, we’ve had some gems like Doona, Castaway Diva, and A Time Called You that have been loved by audiences and critics alike. Now, it’s finally time for the highly anticipated Song Kang and Kim You-Jung-starring K-drama My Demon to have us on our knees begging for mercy. Alright, this is a very unserious statement, but everyone’s just so excited to be taken in by this girlboss-demon combination that we can’t help but imagine it’s going to be a super hit even if it manages to bring nothing new to the table. People are already screaming about the “face cards” these two very attractive actors are bringing to the show, which is reason enough to give it a go.

Castaway Diva is a new South Korean series directed by Oh Choong Hwan. It stars Park Eun-bin and Chae Jong-hyeop.

As you may already know, K-pop ignites passions, and “Castaway Diva” has a storyline that takes us through the most innocent paths of love, starting from this popular music, as well as darker paths.

Both of them manage to escape reality to learn to coexist beyond this world in a shipwreck.

A series that premieres this Saturday on Netflix and comes to us from the homeland of K-pop.

It will surely have many fans in its country of origin and, like its brilliant music, it will transcend borders thanks to Netflix.

Netflix has dropped a new trailer for the highly-anticipated Castaway Diva, the upcoming Korean rom-com starring Extraordinary Attorney Woo‘s Park Eun-bin. In the trailer (watch below), we’re introduced to Seo Mok-ha (Eun-bin), who is pursuing her dream of becoming a famous pop star after spending 15 years castaway on an uninhabited island. In the teaser we see Mok-ha meet Yoon Ran-joo (Kim Hyo-jin), a former A-list singer whom Mok-ha is a massive fan of. “It has always been my dream to sing on stage with you,” she tells the once-famous pop superstar.
