UGH...seriously, what is all this garbage that now seems to use the title of "movie" to gain notoriety? This film, and I use the word film in the loosest possible way, is just horrible. Do yourself a favour and watch the movie VAMP...made in 1986, starring the amazing Grace Jones, it's FAR beyond this pile of garbage. I'm very convinced that Club Dead is somewhat based on VAMP, and does not do the 1986 movie any justice or tribute. Save yourself some time, and put a steak through Club Dead.

I don't get the negativity from other reviews. I didn't watch this film expecting Great Art, and the film didn't present itself as such. As others pointed out, the premise isn't new and, like many films made on a limited budget, the production is sometimes a bit lacking. However, unlike other limited-budget efforts, the pacing is tight and the actors go full-throttle throughout. We get lines like:
Lead Vampire: You must join the undead. You only have to give up your body and soul.
Victim: I'm a waiter in a restaurant. It's too late for that.
If you're looking for cinema verite, or poignant commentary on the human condition, this is not that. It's a silly romp about fictional monsters and how people can be drawn to them.
6/10, since the actors involved clearly had a great time doing the film, and parts are very funny.
