Such a fun summer show was fun to watch and sad to see go. The character, Gulbeyaz was delightful. Her fun and playful nature was a joy. I also enjoyed the characters, Fadime and Neriman as they brought the comedy to laugh out loud levels. Yaz's mom, Emine, was somewhat offensive with the threats of violence and threats to force Yaz to leave her life in Istanbul. The character Asli was very conniving and horrible in general, so her quick redemption seemed undeserved. Both men, Kemal and Murat were adequate, but not stellar. Maybe there would have been more had the show lasted a little longer. It seems that because of the quick ending, some story lines (like learning about Kemal's past) seemed to have just been left to the side. The character, Defne was endearing. She was the real friend that Yaz needed. Overall, this was a charming and enjoyable series. I wish there was more time for this Summer Song.
The script was very weak,
the story was boring and Yaz himself didn't know what he wanted from life,
only Fadima's presence made me watch the last episode.
Women appeared with extremely heavy makeup.
When the script has nothing to say, the women appear in clothes that show a lot of their body parts and heavy make-up.
The existence of a character like Asli with this level of malice and selfishness was completely believable.
Hope we will see stronger and more complex scripts from the author in the next serials. So that there is no need to use heavy make-up and unusual clothes to attract the audience, Beauty is in simplicity.

This is a light romcom with not much depth in storyline but will give you a feel good happy time. The female lead is beautiful and sweet though her character she is playing is weak and gullible. She needs to stand up for herself and not let herself be used. I think this series will be one of those where we all wish the supporting male lead gets the girl. Murat is a nice guy and looks good with Yaz. I hope they don't turn him into a bad guy just so the male lead appears better. Kemal as the male lead is selfish and thinks mainly of himself. He is not likeable. That's going to be a problem if this series continues. We can't have a male lead who we don't cheer for. I don't like the clothes worn by the ladies in this series - all skimpy and not appropriate office wear even though the office is a recording studio. I fast forwarded a fair bit watching each episode. I doubt I'll continue with this series. Watched it because it was available on YouTube with English subtitles. Otherwise, I won't bother.
