The desperate flight from a known evil into the arms of an unknown one is a timeless narrative engine. In Hunting Grounds, this classic thriller setup is given a raw, visceral edge. The story centers on Chloe, a mother whose escape from her violent, mob-connected husband is a matter of life and death. After ensuring her children are safe, she flees into the remote Canadian wilderness, a landscape that promises anonymity and refuge.

There, she encounters Jake, a reclusive woodsman who seems to be the very image of a protector. He offers shelter and security from the henchmen her husband has sent after her. The film skillfully builds an atmosphere of dread, suggesting that this forest sanctuary may be a cage with a far more unpredictable predator inside.

Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg's live-action adaptation of Uncharted is finding new streaming success three years after it bombed with critics. Sony's long-awaited movie version of the Naughty Dog games featured Wahlberg as grizzled treasure hunter Sully and Holland as his protégé Nathan Drake.

Per FlixPatrol, Uncharted has rocketed up Prime Video's Top 10 Overall content rankings and is currently sitting at #8, ahead of Ben Affleck's action thriller The Accountant 2 and the biblical series The Chosen, as of Sunday, July 20. Uncharted is fairing even better on Prime Video's Top 10 Movies chart, where it's currently ranking at #2, behind only Idris Elba and John Cena's new action movie Heads of State. Holland's video game movie rose two spots to hit #2 on the Movies chart, putting it ahead of The Accountant 2 (#3), historical drama Hidden Figures (#4) and another gaming adaptation in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (#5).

It's an amazing time to be a Predator fan. Not only did the franchise just get its first feature-length animated film, Predator: Killer of Killers, the next live-action entry in the franchise is also releasing later this year: Predator: Badlands from directorDan Trachtenberg (Prey). This is the first time the main series will be fully set in space. However, before that sci-fi horror epic begins, Neca debuted their latest Predator figure.

Based on 1990’s Predator 2, Neca’s newest figure is their updated ¼ scale City Hunter Predator with LED Lights. The famous horror villain stands at a menacing 20-inches tall and has over 25 points of articulation. It comes with interchangeable hands, a shoulder plasma caster, a satchel, a throwing disc, and a combistick. The batteries are also included in this massive set. This figure now joins Neca's ever-growing Predator collection. Their “Ultimate” seven-inch scale line has included figures for Prey and Predator: Hunting Grounds.

2014's RoboCopcontinues to make its way up towards the top of the streaming charts.

Per FlixPatrol, the 2014 sci-fi action remake starring Joel Kinnaman and Gary Oldman has officially reached the number five spot on the chart of the top ten films streaming on Amazon Prime Video. As of the time of writing, RoboCop sits just behind A Knight's Tale in fourth place, and just ahead of Hunting Grounds in sixth. The list is still dominated by Heads of State, starring Idris Elba and John Cena.
