Fawad Khan is set to make a highly anticipated Bollywood comeback after an 8-year hiatus, starring alongside Vaani Kapoor in a Hindi romantic comedy film directed by Aarti Bagdi. The film, which will be shot entirely in the UK, explores the journey of two broken individuals who find solace and love in each other, aiding each other’s healing process. This project marks a significant return for Khan, who last appeared in the Pakistani blockbuster “The Legend of Maula Jatt” and the international series “Ms. Marvel.”

Set in the Hunza Valley, “Barzakh” centers on a 76-year-old man who surprises his estranged children and grandchildren by announcing his engagement to the ghost of his first love. This revelation triggers a series of emotional confrontations as the family gathers, unsure how to respond to the situation.

The trailer suggests that “Barzakh” will explore themes of interconnectedness and enduring love, weaving local folklore into its storyline. The series poses the question: “When all has withered, will love endure?”

The six-episode series is produced by Waqas Hassan and Shailja Kejriwal for Zindagi, the Indian subcontinent focused programming block on streamer ZEE5 Global. Mumbai, Nov 11 (Ians) Pakistani actor Bilal Abbas Khan feels Indian filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj has an amazing understanding of cinema, and hopes to work with the filmmaker.

"I love watching movies and web series, be it Hollywood or Bollywood. I have seen a lot of Indian movies including the South Indian ones. They are the reason that I am an actor today," he said.

"I wish to be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. I have seen all his films like Omkara, Kaminey, Haider and Maqbool. His understanding of cinema is amazing and I aspire to be part of films that comprise performance-driven characters and a powerful storyline. He is my all-time favourite," he continued.

New Delhi, Oct 29 (Ians) Pakistani actress Madiha Imam has grown up watching Bollywood films and is enamoured with the charm of Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Madiha entered films with the Bollywood film "Dear Maya" in 2017.

"I have grown up watching a lot of Bollywood films. Earlier in Pakistan, there were more TV shows than films and most people of my age would watch Bollywood films. It influenced us in the same manner as it must have done in India because the stories are so relatable," Madiha said.
