Battered Emotions

Of course I had never heard about this 2023 movie titled "Battered Emotions", but a mere glance at this 2023 movie's cover and I knew it was most likely a movie from Maverick Entertainment. And true enough, that it was indeed.

The storyline in "Battered Emotions" was a swing and a miss. It was a rather slow paced storyline that proved to have a monotonous narrative that took forever to go nowhere. So writer Roosevelt Jackson, whom also directed the movie, failed to deliver an entertaining script.

Needless to say that I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. Not that I was impressed, though, because the acting performances in the movie were sluggish and amateurish.

This movie was painful to sit through, because it was boredom in its purest form. And it is definitely not a movie that I would recommend you to waste 74 minutes on watching. Some of us virtually suffered through this dumpster fire so you don't have to; you're quite welcome.

My rating of writer and director Roosevelt Jackson's 2023 drama "Battered Emotions" lands on a generous two out of ten stars.
