The pace is very slow as Gadar Sangh's acting is too boring too watch he should be hero of this series but he is looking like a drunk and confused person. Also pace is very slow as they have shown mysterious death of six people in a family but storyline is not completed even after 8 episodes in season 1 and they might release 2nd season to make it complete but it is too boring too watch. They should have completed this in one season as it is not looking that lengthy but director and actors made it lengthy. If someone has not watched please don't watch to waste your time and still it will incomplete.

Similar reviews has been given on 3rd july and 21st june either by the same or different people. But the show was entertaining, there was seen some weak storyline as well as weak direction but overall an entertaining show. Characters are loosely written, protagonist behaviour sometime seems exaggerated. Intern doctor is doing more better jobs than police shows that story is a bit weak. I would recommend if someone has free time they can explore this series, this series has good amount of mystery which will hold you to the screen. Overall enjoyed the part1 will be waiting for the part2 as well.

The finale of 'Gaanth' was thrilling and captivating from start to finish. The way the troubles escalated for Gadar Singh and Sakshi kept me completely engaged. The reveal about the hooded figure was a brilliant twist that added a lot of depth to the narrative. Even though there were a few narrative weaknesses, the overall atmosphere of the show was gritty and suspenseful, making it a must-watch. The unresolved mysteries surrounding the true culprit and Gadar Singh's fate create a perfect setup for the next season. I am eagerly waiting to see how the story continues! The finale of 'Gaanth' was thrilling and captivating from start to finish.

Series is a fictional version of burari mass sucide case. As usual, protagonist is a drunk and broke person. He is always angry for no reason.
Show shows caste discrimination in very unrealistic manner, according to director general caste students in higher studies openly pass casteist comments, looks like he's never been to college. If this happen in real life that person will be behind the bar next second.
Nothing special in series, looks like director trying to copy success of Delhi crime, first 4 episodes are very slow, after that story pickup some speed. If you have nothing to watch and have time to kill, then go for it.

This is a fictitious version of the real event that happened in Delhi, popularly known as the Burari Deaths.
Unfortunately, apart from its adaptation of this real event, there was nothing good on the table.
Its slow pace makes it boring and lengthy. The show consists of 8 episodes, each with a runtime of 30 to 45 minutes.
The mystery seemed like a never-ending case, making it a patience-breaking show.
As a viewer, we can only wait to see the real culprit in the last episode, which was a very long and boring journey.
The show ends with an unexpected reveal, presumably setting up a second season, but I believe they failed to make us anticipate it.
Manav Vij's performance is good, but his character was confusing and unpredictable. I wish we could see more of his character development so that we could at least have a guess about his state of mind.
Apart from its connection with the real event, this show doesn't offer me anything. Literally, anything.

Gaanth, directed by Kanishk Varma, is a masterpiece that immerses viewers in a disturbing and gripping mystery. Inspired by the real-life Burari Deaths, the series introduces us to Inspector Gadar Singh, portrayed brilliantly by Manav Vij. At his lowest point-grieving his wife, suspended from his job, and fighting for his daughter's custody-Gadar is suddenly thrust back into the chaos of a perplexing case. The show excels in creating a dark and intense atmosphere that perfectly mirrors the unsettling nature of the mystery. The depiction of the Jamnaa Paar district, with its local power dynamics and gang rivalries, adds a layer of gritty realism that enhances the viewing experience. Gaanth is a must-watch for fans of intense crime dramas.

I don't understand how this series getting 8+ rating. As compared to many other webseries, this is not even half of them. May be coz this series is inspired with a true event, they have tried to show how truly the police would have worked on this sensitive case. An alcohol addict leading cop, an stupid junior cop, a nurse with some psycho disorder. Maybe in real also Delhi police would have appointed such a loser team to solve this sensitive case. Useless. Aisa lag raha tha ki super cops nahi balki chutiye case solve kar rahe hain. Time waste. Bhaag bhenchoo. Agar ek bande ka bhi role series mein thoda sensible/sharp minded hota toh bhi thk tha. Par yahan toh sare bhootiye the.
