Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon - Another Isekai Anime! 😅
I just started watching this anime today, and I've already completed 6 episodes. The main reason I picked it up was the bizarre yet unique concept-being reborn as a vending machine! I was really curious to see how they would execute such an idea. At first, I couldn't even imagine how a machine that can't even move could be part of an adventure anime! But the storytelling takes an interesting approach, making it somewhat engaging.
But don't take this as high praise-it's no masterpiece 😅. The story mostly revolves around Boxxo (the vending machine MC) and Lammis (his companion). The vending machine can change types as needed-sometimes a food vending machine, sometimes a book vending machine, and more. The concept is definitely unique, but the execution doesn't feel very impactful.
Overall, I'd rate it 6/10. It's different, but not something I'd be super excited about. Watch it if you want to try something new, otherwise, you can skip it.

I remember watching a ridiculous anime called "Reincarnated as a Sword"
Someone in the comments section asked, "What is next? Reborn as a Vending Machine??? "
and here we are. Another ridiculous anime.
It looks like writers are out of ideas, so they find a random object, make it evolve with every use, and send them to fight a demon or something.
I get that it's a new style. But I hope it's the last one. And we don't get another anime called Reborn as Clothes, Reborn as a Fork, Reborn as a Vehicle or I don't know, Reborn as a Toilet!!!
I mean, as a Isekai nerd, I would watch all of them any way. But I would not like them. I would not like them at all.

This anime, to put it bluntly, is a prime example of blandness in every aspect. It appears as though the creators pinned their hopes solely on the gimmicky premise of reincarnation into a vending machine, assuming that this alone would suffice. This approach, however, falls flat, as it appeals only to a narrow audience and lacks the depth needed to engage a wider viewer base. It's as if the writers neglected the rest of the show, leaving it devoid of any real substance.
The characters, unfortunately, follow a formulaic and unoriginal pattern. They exhibit predictable and overused personality traits that have been recycled countless times, with the main character suffering the most from this lack of individuality. The absence of any distinct personality traits renders them forgettable and hinders any emotional connection.
Worldbuilding, a crucial element in any fantasy narrative, fails to inspire here. The universe feels unimaginative, and the narrative itself proves to be a tedious experience. This anime desperately lacks the spark that makes a story engaging.
Considering these factors, I wouldn't recommend investing your time in this lackluster creation. The lack of effort in various aspects of the show, coupled with uninspired worldbuilding and a dull plot, contribute to an overall viewing experience that falls short of even basic standards. Spare yourself the disappointment and avoid this anime at all costs.

Reborn as a vending machine might just be the craziest plot driven anime i have seen till date. I was not expecting anything a lot but man i binged first 3 episodes like crazy and had a blast watching it. Highly recommended.
I have never read the light novel so i didnt know much before going into the anime but i was glad it had come out with a DUB for first episode. Watching the first episode in dub is what really got into into the anime. Excellent dub cast btw so youre gonna def enjoy it.
The light novel came out in 2016s and the anime in 2023. I think this is a good anime and eveyrone should enjoy.

I think I first caught wind of this imgur, and the idea was so stupid I had to check it out. It really is about a guy reincarnated as a vending machine! The why is absurd, as I said, but putting him (it) in a D&D world is even more absurd.
The most absurd thing is that there's a love story (kind of).
Boxxo (as he's called) can magically change the items he vends, and if you know what Japanese vending machines are capable of, it's another level of bizarre humor.
This is also a parody of D&D role-playing games and their various tropes.
In short, I recommend this if you're in the mood for a dorky comedy or an RPG parody.

Reborn as a Vending Machine is one of those anime that, by all logic, should make absolutely no sense. The premise is so absurd a man reincarnated as a literal vending machine that it feels like a joke taken too far. And yet... somehow, the studio manages to build a surprisingly coherent world around it. The characters are endearing, the worldbuilding is more solid than expected, and the story never feels like it's just relying on the gimmick. That said, the absurdity is still hard to ignore, and the show doesn't always know what to do with its own weirdness. It's not amazing, but it's definitely better than it has any right to be. A solid 5/10 for effort and originality.

Why people rate this anime so bad? I love this anime the story character and plot are good, hope there's 5 season adapted i also love rammis when she always with MC, being his first friend ( ill put rammis to my waifu list)
And my hope is after the Main character transformed into human also bring some power ups like unique skill ( as always another isekai Main character) and have nice looking and cool face. Very recommended for yall that wanted Slice of Life isekai this is nice and maybe my critic is because the main character has lack of backstory hope they gonna add it too thats all ( yall need to try )

I went into watching this with the lowest of expectations - I was wrong. It is fun, funny, sweet, entertaining, and easy to watch, does not require a lot of thought. Get the popcorn and prepare to be totally entertained. I truly loved it. I even created this IMBD account just now so I could review this show. Dumbest concept ever, most likely, but it was just fun and easy and I loved it. I might be alone in this, but I highly recommend it. Gave it 9 out of 10 because I just watched Solo Leveling and JJK and the animation in those is beyond amazing. Otherwise, turn off your brain, sit back, and enjoy.
The anime exceeded my expectations. I never thought I'd enjoy seeing a vending machine get isekai'd, but here we are. The relationship between the vending machine and the strong girl is sweet and rarely seen in other animes. The show was quick, and rightfully so; the story was light, making it easy to enjoy. This anime gave me a new appreciation for Japan's love of vending machines.
However what the... Was that in the end did they pimp themselves up to thank him lol, typical Japanese anime.
Also I would to see more transformations from him with the condition that they keep the story light and short.

This is one of those absurd isekai animes that kind of sucks you in. To make the story succinct, the protagonist the reborn in another world as a... vending machine!
Yeah, it's exactly what it says on the tin.
The thing is, this one is better than you'd think. The world is kind of interesting, the story is better than I gave it credit for, and the animation is adequate. The episodes are for the most part good filler to have on without being overly dramatic nor jarring and it doesn't attempt to take itself seriously beyond it's premise. In general, it's fine absurdity that doesn't waste your time by trying to be something it's not.
I do wish the story dived more into the characters as it seems like there's some untapped depth there that'd really set this one up. Also, the episodes can kind of plod in some parts, but the reward if worth the setup if you allow it time. That said, one or two didn't really hit the mark, but it wasn't far off.
I had this going while doing some work and enjoyed it. I might recommend it if you're binging and don't want anything overly harsh or bad. It's surprisingly intelligent for the premise and funny where it need to be.

Jidou Hanbaiki ni Umarekawatta Ore wa Meikyuu wo Samayou is a veritable tour de force in the realm of anime, effortlessly marrying innovation, wit, and profound narrative sophistication. The premise-an incongruous vending machine reincarnated within a fantastical domain-unfolds with an elegance that delves into the complexities of purpose and self-realization. The animation dazzles with exquisite artistry, while the character development is executed with unparalleled finesse, rendering the protagonist unexpectedly poignant. Coupled with stellar voice performances and a masterful equilibrium between levity and gravitas, this series unquestionably sets a new zenith for the medium, leaving an indelible and transcendent impression upon its discerning audience.
