PLEASE come back

Although not a real real housewife show per se, it is as close as we get to an English version. The allure of London, the friendships and unfriendships and the urban, aristocratic lifestyle are captivating! Just give it some episodes and you're into it! What a shame the show ended with only three seasons.

Boring Americans in London

What a boring series. The odd token Londoner, the rest just crass American gold diggers who happen to live in London. Give it a big miss.

Love it

I've only seen one episode so far, but it's so interesting to see how the elite people of London live. There are some similarities to Americans, but there are also some vast differences as well. Overall, it's super interesting to watch and I'm bummed there are only 3 seasons. Bring it back, Bravo!

Money but no Taste

I didn't watch this show when it was new, but I happened to catch it in the summer reruns and have to admit that it is fascinating in the same way a train wreck holds one's attention. Anyone who has ever wondered why so many Europeans dislike Americans need only watch an episode of this dross to understand. The America expats in this series are loud, pretentious (as are some of the Brits) and without any useful purpose. All they have is money and artificial looks as the result of skillful surgeons. Convent-bred and elite (with a notable exception), these "ladies" ain't. Nevertheless the show is a masterclass in publicity seeking, self promotion and a demonstration of how far some people will go to embarrass themselves but still get attention. Bravo, Bravo!

Lifestyles of the Rich and Phony

I quit watching after a few episodes because listening to a bunch of snobby, gold digging American women try to pretend to have a British accent in the attempt to sound 'cooler, sexier, wtv' and to fit in just started to grate on me. People don't naturally pick up another accent after forming dialect with one spoken with from birth to adulthood EVER! Not in 10 years, not in 50 years. I work at a very large, very diverse company and with people from all walks of birth and life who have been in America for 40+ years and you can still barely understand them because they never 'formed' an American accent over any amount of time. Noelle, whom is the most annoying and most fake out of all the American women on this show is the worst and has been in London the shortest amount of time.

Too preface what I'm about to say next, I need to say first that I am American and I love everything British. I pretty much only watch British TV and comedians (I love their panel and quiz shows) and will rewatch it all before I even try any American show. Aside from the phony, obnoxious American women, all of the British women on this show are mean and nasty too, which is another reason I couldn't watch it. I guess it just goes to show that the wealthy make up a (dehumanized) race of their own.
