+1 Ending Sorta Okay . Felt really sorry for Cow.

Oopst. My bent is showing. I'm such a sucker for horror in general and FF in particular that I even find this little piece of fluff endearing. The asides are actually funny, the girls are pretty and the aliens are bad. I give it a positive review but only just. It's "only just" because the aliens did their damage but they weren't really scary, not for prolonged moments. There was enough build-up to give it some tension but no real fear. A hokey paranormal show investigates cattle mutilation in a notorious Area 51 knock-off.

Standard found footage film of a show seeking to debunk the paranormal. Somehow some of the crew come across as fuller characters, and that helps to make this mildly more engaging than most of its ilk. Falls apart at the end with a long chase sequence, shoddy alien effects, and downbeat ending. But, up until then, I actually enjoyed watching it.

Finally broke my long run of terrible horror/ found footage films. This one was quite watchable. The FF genre can be very entertaining at times with long runs of terrible releases and attempts at this genre. This one is on the better side of my grading card. The filming looks pretty genuine. Acting wasn't terrible. You get a lot of no name actors in these since having a recognized name ruins the authentic presentation aspect of FF (Skinwalker Ranch I'm looking at you...) films. Many of these films are done on small budgets and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I think the big gap in this one was the creature itself. They obviously didn't have a big practical effects dept/budget, so we only get tiny glimpses and this one could have used some extra oomph to drive it home. Still, a decent FF entry.

Its quite ok-ish found footage if you can get past the stereotypical animal like aliens that likes to suck on cow blood, because of course they like that! Its definitely more entertaining to watch than most of "lost in the woods" type of found footage. Good effort 6/10.

The character that opens the film, the cameraman, is a warm kind soul who gets on well with the gorgeous female floozy presenter. He manages to meet an equally kind soul in the shape of a beautiful ranger when they arrive on site to film their 'cattle mutilation' reality TV expose. The rest of the cast are sufficiently unbearable that they could all work on an LA reality TV show, but still with charisma enough that you can share the experience with them. They continue their investigation, but will they slice out more cattle tongue than they can chew?
