Star Wars Outlaws (2024)

Trivia

Star Wars Outlaws

Edit
In Chalmun's Cantina from La Guerre des étoiles (1977), one of the booths has a visible burn mark on the wall. It's the same booth in which Greedo got shot by Han Solo.
A number of familiar weapons from across the Star Wars universe are usable, most notably the E-11 blaster rifle carried by stormtroopers. Kay's VM-19 Heavy Blaster Pistol is original to the game; while not usable ND-5's DL-18 Blaster Pistol is notable for also being used by former Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus in Star Wars Rebels (2014). Other usable weapons include the BlastTech A300 rifle, used by Cassian Andor and Rebel troops in Rogue One: A Star Wars story (2016). BlasTech DLT-19 Heavy Blaster Rifle, usually carried by stormtrooper commanders and used by Chewie on the Death Star in La Guerre des étoiles (1977). DLT-A20 Sniper Rifle, carried by the bounty hunter IG-88 in L'Empire contre-attaque (1980). Relby V-10 Targeting Rifle was also first seen in "Empire Strikes Back", carried by the Trandoshan bounty hunter Bossk. TL-50 Heavy Repeater should be very familiar to gaming veterans, it first appeared in both Star Wars: Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast (2002) & Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy (2003) as the Imperial Heavy Repeater, it also appeared in Star Wars: Battlefront (2015) where it got the TL-50 designation. The Z-6 Rotary Blaster Cannon used by heavy stormtroopers first appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) being used by Republic Heavy Clone Troopers, it made its first video game appearance in Star Wars: Battlefront II (2017); the Z-6 was later modified by the Empire to have a small energy shield, this modification was first seen in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (2019) and its sequel Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (2023). JND-41 Percussion Cannon is carried by Crimson Dawn enforcers and was first seen in Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018). Finally the Amban Phase-Pulse short rifle, illegal in both the Republic and the Empire since it vaporizes its target (and can't be stopped with a lightsaber blade), is used by Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Dajrin in The Mandalorian (2019), though Din's is modified with a longer stock.
When listening to audio logs and holodramas the sound of a movie projector motor can be faintly heard in the background. Which was one of the primary audio sources sound designer Ben Burtt used to create the humming sound effect for a lightsaber during production of La Guerre des étoiles (1977). The other audio source he used for a lightsaber's sound effect was interference generated by holding an unshielded microphone close to a television set, which he used to create the buzzing, sparking sounds lightsaber blades make.
This game takes place between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi
Kay Vess actress Humberly González is the first Latina to play the lead character in the Star Wars franchise.
