Almost in each shot in Asami's new house, there is a bird statue in the shots. The reason is the director's grandfather gave his grandson an ultimatum when getting permission to shoot in the house, he needed to put a light up bird statue in the shot.
Each of the mannequins with names has the TC logo on it. That TC logo is Tommy Castillo's initials, as well as the Castillo Studios logo. Sammy P. Castillo gave the director permission to use Tommy's likeness in order to make Mr. Painter.
The director's grandmother was the executive producer and his mother helped out with the catering and craft services.
Most of the film was shot in the director's grandparent's retirement home and neighborhood.
The director's two shiba inu boys, Akamaru Ryu and Tobimaru "Tobi" Kenji were a part of the crew. They were classified as the emotional support crew dog members during the rough times, including the passing of Justin TK Gomez.
