Sometimes in life, you'll find such wondrous, hidden little gems.
This my friends, is one of those diamonds in the rough.
Bugbo, a charming "web-series", resembling flash games my children used to spend all day and night playing, has pulled my heartstrings in a way no other flash-esque motion picture could. Though only two episodes in, the series manages to sell its characters really well, and with such limited running time. Gerbo, a sweet little angel, easily stole my children's hearts. I cant say the show would be the same without him! You could say "Gradient-Joe" had a similar effect on my own heart, Silent, but deadly... deadly gorgeous! XD Even the Weeping clown seemed to be a favourite among us!
It is seriously perfection! Well... Almost?
As a strong devotee to my religion, I cannot help but notice the... how should I say it?
There are these slight... "cultish" hidden messages, and as a kid show, i cant say i'm thoroughly impressed. They could be easily ignored as a kid, but hey now, i guess my children are growing up so fast, they were able to spot these too, heh. This brings me onto Bugbo, the protagonist... or perhaps antagonist of the story. My children immediately noticed something in Episode 2, "Under the Apple tree" "Mummie, I suppose the bug killed the mayor" And would you believe it? They were right. It is easily missable, but that doesn't mean it can't be seen. I can only hope the team doesn't encourage these sorts of messages in further episodes... Otherwise, it is nothing short of brilliance!
As a side note, and I know I shouldn't say this, he is a bug, and some sort of devil worshipper at that, but he does have his fair share of good looks. A cunning smile and deep green eyes always seem to whisk me away at my feet.
This is the best bug related media since Bugs life 2, ask me 30 years ago, and i would've told you, "nothing can top this... though, bee movie DOES come close xD" Now I understand the woman from bee movie...
GOOD work Bugbo and crew, keep them coming!

Bugbo (2022) is honestly the best show I have ever had the pleasure of watching. The jokes, the characters, the settings, the visuals, the twists, all mushed together into one and wrapped in a buggy little bow. Though its journey has only just begun, I can tell that it's going to live a long, long legacy. The characters are all so so distinct, yet so so similar to each other in a way I can't truly describe. Take Gradient Joe, for example. Though our other three main characters are bugs, with side characters like The Mayor being a human, Gradient Joe doesn't seem to fit either of these descriptions. He has human-like characteristics from his feet to his neck, yet his head is a strange black and white gradient orb of sorts, thus his name of "Gradient" Joe. Another thing to note about him is that he doesn't talk at all, only speaking through written notes. But, despite all of these, he still seems to fit in and genuinely get along with his buggy companions, teaching audiences that everyone is equal, along with the message of "Togetherness Makes Anything Effortless" at the end of each episode, and the wonderful addition of Bugbo, the shows star, being transgender. After watching Bugbo (2022), I am truly at a loss for words. Congratulations, Bensilly and his team, for you have created a show of that could rival the works such as Shakespeare.

When I first watched it with my sister, my eyes has witnessed i was looking at Perfection. I love the humor and the unserious situations they end up, including the weird looking characters and animation. My fav when I first watched it was gradient Joe, my fav now is bugbo ofc. I've been a fan ever since and I never stopped loving it. My fav episodes so far is episode 3 and 4 (the 4 episode isn't here on this website so go watch it :3) TY bensilly for releasing this masterpiece. You've boosted my summer last year. Also, EPISODE 5 WHEN?? 😡 (I'm just kidding ik ur not trying to rush, so take ur time :3)
This show is absolutely amazing. I had no idea who I was before I set my eyes on Bugbo (2022). An animation is absolutely amazing, and the show is full of humor. It makes me Glaggle. I genuinely think this show will do big one day, and I'm glad I can be here. Gradient Joe is me. He's just a Guy. Sometimes I think we need to step back from life and just be like Gradient Joe. Who doesn't want to have The Abyss as a face? Bugbo genuinely makes me want to make a show of my own of this nature. Bensilly, I know you'll be huge one day in the Bugbo industry and I wish the best of luck to you. - Strawberry.
