The Reflection is a captivating short film that masterfully blends elements of drama and suspense within its concise 5-minute runtime. Director Mohammad Baig has done an excellent job of creating an atmosphere of tension and intrigue, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats from start to finish. The performances by Ariana Medina and Megan Taylor are remarkable, delivering compelling portrayals that bring the characters to life and enhance the emotional impact of the story. The cinematography and editing are also noteworthy, effectively enhancing the sense of unease and unease. Overall, The Reflection is an impressive achievement, offering a thought-provoking exploration of relationships and the hidden truths that can lurk beneath the surface.
Might be the best short film I've ever seen. Congratulations on a really well made video. I would definitely recommend everyone to watch it. The actors play very professionally. The story written is very meaningful. I want to watch as I watch. Normally, short films don't interest me much, but watching this short film got me very excited. You may encounter a lot of surprises. It was a short film that we had to learn excellent lessons from. I followed it on the recommendation of a friend and I never regretted it. I would definitely recommend people who like these tour movies to watch it. It is obvious that this short film has been prepared with a lot of effort.
I enjoyed the short film. The background sound towards the end make it horror like and these resonates with my favorites. I loving the suspense and the and the phone call mind replays in one of the actors. The replays brings the daily mind life reflection especially when someone tells you something that's either weird, surprising funny or even annoying. I hope the film is going to get you facinated. I am a newbie in the short film so if you just come a cross or know one like this please reply this review do that I can have a look and enjoy as well. Thanks, wishing you happy moments couple with imagination.
The acting combined with intense cinematography makes this film positively gripping. The Reflection has the pace of both a good mystery and a supernatural film yet leads to a subject both heartbreaking and relevant. The soundtrack adds to the suspense. Particularly intense is the phone call in which Megan Taylor describes her trust and her love for her partner who turns out to be narcissistic and abusive. The scene where she is staring into the mirror with both confidence and a bit of swagger turning into concern and then almost panic like doubt is particularly riveting. It leads to a boiling and gut wrenching conclusion. The movie addresses a huge issue in society in a tumultuous display that embraces the justice in all of us.

Though I knew this was a short film going into it, I became almost angry coming out of it that there was nothing more to see. Almost 5 minutes, then, boom! Roll credits. I wanted a feature length film! For reference, I did not read any reviews, or look at the description before jumping in to watch. Honestly, I'm sad you might have watched the trailer or plot summary by this point. If you haven't, don't! Just go watch the film immediately THEN, read the reviews. The experience will be exponentially better.
The cinematography and the carefully timed horror/thriller music draws you into being captivated within seconds. Seemingly monotonous movements of the actress in the first minute of the film become well placed foreshadowing in the next moment. The way the plot is constructed takes you through all of the emotions you get in any great horror movie. The normal routine, the strange occurrence happening, the realization of what the truth is and the horror experienced.
The only critique I could possibly have is to have more of a horrific impact with the make up effects.
This short film is definitely a must-watch and HAS to be seen from beginning to end. This is not a short film for the distracted viewer, as you do NOT want to blink for fear of missing a second of it.
And like any good film, you definitely have to watch it twice. After this review, I'm definitely hitting the replay button, and sharing it with my fellow horror-movie-loving friends.
