A Feel good movie with different subject

Maad dad carrying a different subject. To make a movie about a man's mental disorder is challenging. Excellent poetic visuals and Delightful music. There are some drawbacks in the screenplay, especially after the interval and climax area. But the story line is remarkable. Most of the actors did their characters very well, especially lalu alex but sreejith vijay not up to standard. Cinema is a male-dominated industry. Therefore, it is a matter of pride that this film was written and directed by a woman. Revathi varma is an inspiration for upcoming women directors.

A real movie

Good movie. Hope Nazria was first introduced through this movie. Even it is not a big budget entertainer, I feel it has value for money. May god bless the team behind.

Delicious watch

A movie with a different cuisine. Plated yummy with delicious story, music, stunning visuals and different colour palette. It is a story of a mad dad Palachottil Geevargees Kuriakose Esho and his loving daughter Mariya. A touching story of a psycho psychosis father and his daughter. A well made film with minimum flows. This psychological story could be presented with little more realistic approach. I read the makers first choice was Mohanlal. It would be a dream cast for this virgin story. Sureshgopi or Jayaram also a good choice for Palachotil Geevargees kuriakose esho, the loving sweet mad father. Nazriya is excellent choice. Her debut movie gave her a challenging lead role which she portraits well. Lalu Alex did a remarkable performance as Soda Mathan's character. Revathy S Varmha directed the film Good with a fragrance of soothing color tone and visuals. Many places we can identity her as an admaker in this film. As a story writer she is noted and promising, perhaps she need more brushing up for her script writing skills.

A very good Psychological Comedy

The movie is a psychological comedy going though the life of a SHCRISOPHENIC person. This is a good entertainer. It is a well made film with good visuals and soothing music.

Telling about the lead actors, All of them did their part pretty well but Nazriya and Lalu Alex are the show stealers. Lal goes overboard on few occasions. Padmapriya is wasted and Salim Kumar pitches with an inconsequential role.

Director Revathy S Varmha did her job very well. Overall colour scheme and visuals are good. The could script could have been a little more tight.

Good to watch

Story, making and music is excellent.. Chinnapappa song is classy.. Script could have been written bit more better ways.. Lal is miscast i believe.. Sureshgopi or Jayaram was better.

A psychological story

A movie dealing with entirely theme narrated through a family background. Mental stability is always the bonding factor in a family relationships. But here this movie narrating the story of family bondage through a SHCRISOPHENIC person's life. The movie says how important is a family's care and love for mentally ill person in the society. This film driving us with many stage of emotions. One who does not have the interest in such family drama, please don't waste your time and money. This film is a good entertainer for the people who love life emotions and its hard hitting feelings. Maad dad is a well made film with good visuals and melodious music. A soothing color scheme of this film is really a special treat for your eyes. Director Revathy S Varmha did her job well but the script could be treated more realistic. I believe this genre films need a shuttle treatment. All actors did their part well But Nazriya and Lalu Alex is highlight. Padmapriya is spoiled her character in this film. Salimkumar character is an unnecessary add on.
