10 Problematic Anime Romances Still Better Than Twilight
Image
After The Twilight Saga’s turbulent inception into the cinematic universe, the franchise became a hub for countless pop culture references. Because of the story’s problematic nature, especially regarding the portrayal of toxic relationships, fans compared Twilight’s romance with pretty much everything else that they deemed “trashy.” The phrase “still a better love story than Twilight” gained unexpected popularity among the viewers, who agreed that Twilight’s romance was anything but good.

The audience may have swooned over Edward, Bella, and Jacob’s controversial love triangle at the height of the franchise’s popularity, but the story’s tropes did not age well. It received so much criticism from modern watchers that they believed even some of the most toxic and problematic romance anime were better than Twilight.

Best Ghost Anime Characters
Image
In the real world, dying is the end of your time on this mortal plane. It's impossible to say if ghosts or afterlives exist, and it's not as though real ghosts can play a major role in films and shows. The same can't be said for anime.

In anime, death isn't the end, but a potential plot point that could be used to make a character's arc more interesting. If a character has unfinished business, they may progress through the remainder of the show as a ghost. They may even be dead before the show has even begun. These ten anime ghosts in particular are making the most of their afterlives.

Rurouni Kenshin Reboot: Plot, Cast, Release Date, and Everything Else We Know
Image
Anime reboots can sometimes be far-fetched ideas since a studio would rather make a new anime series based on a popular manga than produce a completely new version of an already poorly regarded one. If it were so simple, we could have a slew of much-needed reboots, such as Tokyo Ghoul and Rosario Vampire. The good news is that Rurouni Kenshin, a classic anime series that, despite a few shortcomings, emerged as one of the best anime shows, is getting a remake this year.

Even though the Rurouni Kenshin franchise has spanned an anime series with 94 episodes and a highly successful live-action movie series that ended in 2021 with Rurouni Kenshin: Final Chapter Part II - The Beginning, it is planning to deliver fans with another intriguing one with a rebooted version of the original.

The new reboot, from the creative minds of Strike the Blood and Re: Zero, will retell...
