There's no two ways around it: this movie is nothing but a blatant rip off of Linnea Quigley's Horror Workout (1990). This film says it is a spoof of that film, but it's more than that. All the major scenes and much of the writing very obviously are taken from that film. The opening scene is the same, coming out from a shower and then speaking to someone wanting to shoot a film with ridiculous time demands. The dialog is mostly the same. The scene where she jogs and is ominously followed by horror characters (many zombies with SFX makeup in Linnea's film, a couple of guys in cheap Halloween masks in this film) is set up the same. There's the same gag that she turns to look to see if she's being followed at the exact time the villains go into hiding. The encounter has the exact same resolution. Clips from previous movies are different because Linnea has been in real movies while this person has not, so they are going to look different. Then it ends with the exact same scene of female friends meeting to watch a movie and being stalked (no extra details, because I am not here to provide spoilers, just to point out the obvious copyright infringement). I can see two films having the same premise, but this is way beyond that. This is a total rip off in almost every way. And, in every respect, Linnea's movie is vastly preferable to this one. It's a real workout, for one, and a real scream queen. These people should be sued off the face of the planet for tricking anyone into watching this.
