Barrabrava

I really liked the series; I think the idea of delving into what soccer fan groups are like in Argentina is a good one. It does a great job of showing everything that happens behind a "barrabrava" (hooligan group)-the businesses around it, the politics, and also the characters' stories. The only issue, as often happens with Argentine shows, is the overacting of the lower-class characters.

I hope the story continues but doesn't keep returning to the same conflicts. The first season focused on the internal struggles within the hooligan group, so I hope they now explore rivalries and shift the focus in that direction.

Argentina knows how to make cinema and series. So you're in for a treat.

In Barrabrava, first you have that South American Latin vibe. You get some drama, some action, a little comedy, warmth (in family relations and friendship) and some violence too. All very well balanced.

The scenes are a little bluish because things aren't easy when you're a low class family which work and passion is all about soccer and rival soccer fans.

Storyline is great. There's no moment too much. Cinematography very well made.

You get engaged on the story as the characters are very relatable and charismatic. I love Polaco (Matías Mayer, in a very good acting), the mother, the daughter, the friends.

I loved how there are some parallel stories but well told.

I hope there's a second season coming soon.
