The entire film was shot inside a semi-detached property in Manchester, England, UK. Aside from the exterior shot of the house which was created completely digitally by long-time friend of Orpheus Spiliotopoulos, John Mitsakos.
The costume was put together by various random antiques that Paris Spiliotopoulos had previously purchased.
During his monologue, Dr Niet says in Russian, "Time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment because it will never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we've lived." That's a subtle tribute to the hit TV show "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and particularly the movie "Star Trek: Generations" (1994). In that movie, Captain Jean-Luc Picard can be heard saying those exact words to Riker.
Filming took place over the course of a single day.
Dr Niet can be seen tuning in to a Soviet numbers station on the radio. A numbers station is a shortwave radio station characterized by broadcasts of formatted numbers, which are believed to be addressed to intelligence officers. Numbers stations were most abundant during the Cold War era, the period during which the film takes place.
