Movie Review: A Wedding Story ( Hindi Horror film) screening in cinema halls near you!!

I'll make this a short one ,I promise ... A death of an elder in an affluent family happens during the inauspicious period of Panchak. The priest isn't allowed to follow the proper rituals during the cremation and a curse is unleashed on the family causing unnatural deaths to happen one after another!!

Some positives ... Protagonists Vaibhav Tatvawadi & Mukti Mohan look cute and their chemistry is awesome. The Cinematography is good too.

The script is a big let down and the story goes nowhere. Keeps the audience pining for the wow moment, the twist , a big reveal which never comes!!

Why did they have to name the film "A Wedding Story" is also puzzling.. the name "Panchak" or "A Funeral Story" would have been more apt , as there is only one wedding as opposed to numerous funerals happening every 15 mins 🤔🤔

A runtime of 1 hr 50 mins seems a bit less as things seem rushed in the 2nd half especially leaving a lot of unanswered questions ❓

An opportunity lost is all I can say!! Cudve been so much better.. but alas , another big let down!! Why on earth can't they get the horror formula right 🤔🤔

Give this one a slip unless u are really desperate!! Dimaag ko shot laga actually 😁

AMAZING acting, HAUNTING music, IMMERSIVE sound design and CHILLING jump scares - this film has it all. Vaibhav Tatwawadi's performance as Vikram is stunning, and his chemistry with Mukti Mohan (Preeti) is also very cute.

Akshay Anand's experience in acting clearly shows, his performance was near flawless.

Lakhsveer Singh Saran, although with limited screen time, makes a strong and emotional impact as well.

The music is absolutely chilling and will scare you. Haunting melodies mixed with meaningful lyrics. The song "Arzi" is also lovely.

Another point is the cinematography - every frame is tastefully crafted to perfection. Visually STUNNING film.
