Thoroughly enjoyed this drama. It was a perfect balance of family, life philosophies, healthy lifestyles, master and disciples relationships, discipline and a journey to traditional Chinese medicine and how it differs in approach with western medicine and how it aligns with it too. There's some romance but it's not primary but yet very beautifully executed. There's not a lot of villains. For the villains, there's a redemption for them. Watching this series is very healing for me. Very well casted too. I watched this primarily because of Zhao Lusi and the subject of traditional Chinese medicine and I ended up loving the entire cast and plot and execution.

This series contains some of the best lifestyle guides and philosophy. Such as :

1. It is important for everyone to sleep early and rise early.

• you must wake up at 5am.

• you should not sleep later than 11pm.

Go to bed specifically from 9pm to 11pm.

2. When we learn to appreciate the beauty that is unrelated to survival, and when we have curiosity about all things, we become the spirit of the Earth.

3. The best period for taking alcohol is from 5pm to 7pm.

4. "if someone else gets it in one try, I will try one hundred times." "If someone else gets it in ten tries, I will try one thousand times." "If you can follow this way, then even if you are stupid, you will become enlightened." "Even if you are weak, you will become strong." "Read hundreds of times and you will find the meaning. "
