Felt like a long unfunny Communist propaganda

Great movie.

It is super funny and very well written movie for me. I always think like Mr. president, solutions are very simple but no one wants to solve them. I think everyone must see this movie. My favorite in 2020.

Pathetic

An ordinary and rather dumb-witted guy becomes elected as the Italian president and proceeds to wreak havoc in Rome.

Claudio Bisio is a talented comedian who can do much better than this. The supporting cast is also wasted in what is a predictable but unfunny farce that can amuse only the most unsophisticated audience.

The final touch of disgrace is the presence of the unavoidable young and sexy starlet (a key role in all low-level Italian comedies), whose only purpose is to "fall in love" with the much older (and usually unattractive lead) to show her naked (or scantily dressed) body, for the titillation of the male audience.

That wouldn't necessarily be a problem if the plot was funny, but it isn't, delivering platitudes such as: all politicians are corrupted; power corrupts even the best people; procedures are ridiculous; etc...

Great movie

Just great, watch it, really what politic is in Europe. In Italy, France, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Germany or Austria. Well I know there is no President in Spain or Germany but you get the message. And it's very funny. Just watch it. And again. And again. And maybe one more time ! OMG, and there is no G, I can tell you... Rules here are more extremist than in Italy, they try everything to keep my review away. The president guy is funny and real. The president guy is real and funny. Wll Ms omdb is still fighting me, I don't think she would about a movie reporting to the guy obama but OK I get the rules, the local rules anyway./

How cute, exaggerated, but cute...

How cute, exaggerated, but cute, the President of Brazil is quoted, João (with Lula's features and his usual charisma) to the sound of "More than Nothing", and highly regarded in the film, today we would be mentioned in a different way, sad pocketminion country, the film is very cute, like a weak comedy, but as a drama and social criticism it works well, a good satire...
