A very solid debut that continues the classic crime comedies and sometimes develops it, bringing the density of situations to its maximum. Visual series continues the style of the story does not stay in the same place, jumping from one style to another in every scene. The heroes are memorable and each one has its important place in history. Some animation additions may seem rather suspicious, which may not be to everyone's liking. However, taking into account the fast pace of the story and the rather funny humor, such details are simply not fixed and the film fulfills its most important task, to entertain its viewer and provide an emotional journey.
One of the best movies in general, and here it is important especially the fact that this is very good outside the Armenian film series, we have not had such a movie yet, because the movie was too bold step towards Armenian film production to enter the powerful world of R films. The film had a genius scenario that was compressed and complicated plot was us very warm and at the same time very rough vocabulary, and this mess appears on the screen with scenes decorated with dynamic and well-developed shots (although at some times it felt that some scenes needed additional editing or rendering, but nevertheless). In short, this movie Serj Gabyan was a glorious entrance to the world of cinema, which, I am sure, yet to be decorated with cool and crazy movies. My advice to all lovers of R rated comedy-crime lovers, go and watch it, it doesn't matter if you're not embarrassed or disgusted, the joy and laughter you'll enjoy the whole time will be unbearable.
Serj Gabyan's film "Ote, Tote, Tvanki Kote" (OTTK) is a game-changer for modern Armenian cinema. With this film, Gabyan has not only wiped away any shame associated with Armenian film production, but has also opened a new chapter in the country's film industry.
Gabyan's approach to filmmaking is unique and refreshing. He has managed to raise the bar to a level that seemed impossible or far from reality. The film is not vulgar or rude, nor is it a copy or pretentious. Instead, it is elegant, smart, funny, beautiful, tasteful, and authentic, with numerous cultural references.
"OTTK" is a masterpiece that celebrates the beauty in the little things. The polished details and the strange selection of actors (characters) add to the delight of the film. The rough reality of life dissolves into intelligence and is filled with mulberry vodka.
Gabyan's OTTK is a breath of fresh air for the Armenian film industry. The film showcases the potential of Armenian cinema and serves as a benchmark for future productions. With this film, Gabyan has not only established himself as a talented filmmaker but has also helped in putting Armenian cinema on the world map.
