The police captain Clément Royan has reurned to Houlgate where he meets his frmer colleague Anna Kareski. Suddenly they have a new case: Philippe Rizzo has been killed by a hit his head.they learn that Philippe Rizzo was a former employee of the casino managed by Clément's grandmother Denise Royan, so Clément is obliged to to take contact with his grandmother, his father Edouard Royan and his half-brother Guillaume: there are great tensions between Clément and his father-Clément's mother disappeared some years ago-Later they meet Isabelle Rizzo, the daughter who tells them that her father helped her because he has got an inheritance.
