The movie is 10/10, I recommend it to anyone who wants to watch it, it keeps you in suspense from minute 1 to minute 99, the actors played their roles to perfection, I have no idea why it has such a low rating on imdb but I and many others would definitely give it a 10 stars What I can add is just thanks to the main actors and the director who filmed this wonderful film. Especially the main actor Yuri Borisov, as usual he played his role like a true professional, 100 percent he played his role to finally win the Oscar.

And already the rest of the actors who did a perfect job to be recognized as international professionals and not just simple Russian actors who can't claim anything more.

It is a fun and sometimes romantic thriller to watch. The majority of the movie takes place in a taxi. A serial killer of a female escort is being sought.

The movie is well thought out in terms of details. The leading lady and the man portray a very sincere portrait in their roles. As they get to know each other, some good jokes come out from time to time.

The actress who plays the role of Liza increases the interest in the movie with her beauty. Also, a pair of high heels can only look this good.

While watching the movie, I envied being a taxi driver on the night shift. It can be really interesting to witness various lives.

There is no sexuality or nudity in the movie. However, there are plenty of sexual dialogues.

A bit claustrophobic at times, with the last 30 minutes of movie a bit over the top and less credible than the rest. All good acting (with the exception of perhaps the young Vernik with "mazhor" cameo in one of the opening sequences) and the big reveal/confrontation scene by one of the goons.

Some references and realia may fly by foreign audiences, but I think it would still all make sense.

Nighttime Moscow is shot in a subdued kind of way, making it look a lot less lively and glamorous than it is - perhaps for a good reason.

Personally, I liked it - it's a good suspense/action flick, not out of this world, but solid. Would recommend.
