If you have watch a lot of hollywood heist movie, you have already know everything. The acting is good, the story is just too cliche and hollywood-ish. They should just add some element of local like some subtle traditional sense or anything to make it still looks local. I understand that from malaysian cinema perspective, this is a very good movie, good budget wise, good technicality, good acting, nice action and everything. Only lack of local mis-en-scene, it just looks to hollywood and can be considered as Grade B hollywood movie. I think they should just learn from korean or hong kong cinema where there is a lot of stuff there that make us know that this is korea, this is Hong Kong, no one can replicate it. Malaysian must have that too, dont just make another "hollywood" movie.
Starting going cliche, with something unexpected after 10 years gloriness which they had to do back the things they have left long ago.
Here's my full rating on this film
Script: it's good and not into some cliche trash talking, more to formal and informative. 8/10
Story: it did pretty well, because of they show many side point of views in just one incident happened 10 long years that cause them to stop their profession, and also why the reason why they should reunite as one family. 9/10
Realistically: it is not as typical Hollywood where everything went smoothly, they did show some flaws and breaking the 4th wall during the delayed heist. Which is did contain some humour, and I like it. 7/10
Strategy: the plans and the way they making through the mission is detailed, not some kind of random doing this and that and later on understood in one sentence, the did put some clashes during plans which something realistic. 8/10
Surprise element: it gets when you reached to the conclusion why the reason they had to stole the ring to cancel the coronation just to find the culprit in the five ivory clan, well done. 8/10
Backup plan: Now what I don't feel comfortable the most is their helper, it's just out of the sudden, came out of nowhere and shows why he was there, and without him they would perished. Something I don't feel right about it.
Ending: kind of cringe, something that is unnecessary, but at least it's not bad though.
Overall I rate this film generous 7/10.

A Malaysian heist flick penned by Joel Soh and helmed by Andre Chiew and Nazim Shah. The plot kicks off with five siblings pulling off a heist of 28 million in gold bars. The crew includes Farid (Dato' Aaron Aziz), the oldest and the mastermind; Lan (Ray Dap Dap); Angah, the tech whiz and hacker; Amer (Remy), the undercover specialist; and the twins, Keyrol (Syafiq Kyle), the safe-cracking expert, and Emma (Mimi Lana), the youngest, who's a pro at manipulation.
After helping their dad, Keyrol ends up doing a decade in prison while the rest of the siblings lay low, keeping the stolen loot under wraps to avoid detection. Once Keyrol is released, Farid faces pressure from Glasses (Jay Iswazir) to steal a grace ring from the powerful 5 Gading Family, a notorious gang in Malaysia.
It's a classic heist movie that sticks to the usual formula, though it sometimes leans on easy and unrealistic solutions! Some folks argue that since The Experts leans into comedy, it's fine if certain scenes don't quite hit the mark. While a few comedic moments land, many just fall flat. I'm not really sold on the direction from Andre Chiew and Nazim Shah, so I can't give The Experts a glowing review due to its notable flaws in the plot and script.

Nice movie. From the start till the end, just perfect. There's a lot of plot twist from this movie, you just need to watch it. It's a good comedy and suitable for family movies. You need to understand it before you can review this movie. If you feel this movie, you'll get it. Basically, this movie is one of the best Malaysian movies that I have ever watch in my entire life. The storyline, the character, the props, CGI and more. Just perfect. And as a small reminder, this movie has a lot of plot twist. That's why I ask you to understand this movie. You really need to. This movie is high class standard for me. That's all, closed.
They hired bunch of big name actors but some didn't give solid delivery for their lines especially Aaron Aziz. Felt like the casting of Aaron Aziz is a bad call given how he tried terribly to be a depressed Vin Diesel in the beginning only to finally be alive at the end. Some lines from him were delivered very lazily despite the lines were very meaningful to the movie. Parts of me feel like the dialogues were dubbed hence why the deliveries felt weak/flat. But they were great actors and actress that still make the movie alive especially the younger siblings. Ofc all the villains have stormtrooper shooting accuracy and legit missed a guy who cant even fit inside a car window. The anti-heist prevention techs were a bit exaggerated and are there to fit the plot. But the dark floating vault shot is quite remarkable. In a way, you can see where the Finas's 30% grants went to in this movie i.e. The big name actors, cars, locations and sets.
