Welcome to Reality Derby, our weekly deep dive into all things reality TV, hosted by Gold Derby senior editors Marcus James Dixon and Denton Davidson.
Joining us this week are Kyle Timpson, the winner of Hell’s Kitchen: Head Chefs Only, and Hannah Flora, the runner-up. (Our interview begins at the 1:11 mark in the video above.) They break down the final dinner service, what they think about Gordon Ramsay‘s decision, and the wildest moments of Season 23.
“I was speechless,” Kyle tells Gold Derby. “I didn’t think the [door] was going to open because Hannah is also a badass chef. It could have been either one of us. I was happy it was me, but Hannah is great. I’m super grateful.”
While Kyle walked into a roomful of confetti, Hannah admits she was thinking her door may have been “jammed.” However, she agrees with Kyle that Gordon had two great options.

So funny. #TheTraitorsUS,” one person wrote on X. Someone else added, “It’s so funny though, that the person who finally caught on to Boston Rob was no other than Tom Sandoval. Before them tonight was the decision of who to murder next and whether or not they’d find a way to move forward in the game … together?

There have been innumerable films titled some variation of Til Death Do Us Part, several of which are already streaming on Tubi. Writer Chris Rhetts differentiates his wedding-themed thriller by co-opting action movie tropes, wherein the protagonist, event planner Vanessa (Virginia Ma), is forced by the villain Terrance Bruckner (Maxwell Almono) to do his bidding or risk the lives of 32 wedding guests and employees.
Rhetts’ script wisely dispenses with any mystery pertaining to the culprit’s identity within the first few minutes. Following the murder of a groundskeeper in a standard cold open, Vanessa and her assistant Anthony (Luke Nieves) arrive on the groom’s secluded island to set up and almost immediately note that things aren’t as they should be.
As Vanessa’s best friend/client Rachel (Meghan Carrasquillo) arrives, Vanessa discovers boxes with her name on them with keepsakes that identify Rachel’s ex as the villain.

Kai Winn Adami, played by Academy Award winner Louise Fletcher, was memorable as one of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's most insidious villains. With one of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's primary themes being faith, Kai Winn was corrupted by political self-interest and jealousy as the elected spiritual leader of Bajor. As an antagonist, Kai Winn starkly contrasted the way Captain Benjamin Sisko (Avery Brooks) slowly accepted his role as Emissary of the Prophets and embraced Bajor, and how Major Kira Nerys (Nana Visitor) redefined her own personal relationship to the Bajoran faith as DS9's Dominion War raged on.
First appearing in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's season 1 finale, "In the Hands of the Prophets", Winn Adami was a strict, orthodox Bajoran Vedek concerned about Keiko O'Brien's (Rosalind Chao) secular teaching style at DS9's school. After the death of Kai Opaka (Camille Saviola), Vedek Winn...

The Aurora Teagarden Mysteries from Hallmark encompass 19 movies all covering the adventures of the titular librarian/private eye and to watch the series in order means starting in 2015. Author Charlaine Harris, best known for her Sookie Stackhouse series which was eventually turned into True Blood by HBO, wrote another long and popular franchise, the Aurora Teagarden series. The books began with Real Murders in 1990 which was followed by 10 more novels, the last coming in 2017, Sleep Like a Baby. Hallmark adapted the second book in the series in April 2015, A Bone to Pick.
Since then, 18 more movies have come out, with all but one starring Candace Cameron Bure as Aurora Teagarden. Aurora "Roe" is a librarian in the sleepy town of Lawrenceton, Washington, where she runs the Real Murders Club, a group of true crime lovers who meet every month to study up on the famous crimes from the history of their town.

The American sitcom has been around almost as long as television itself, and while there have been literally hundreds of entries within the genre, there are still those that remain timeless today. Whether for their groundbreaking nature, lovable characters, or outstanding production, these shows remain among the best and most important entertainment media of all time. One such sitcom stood out for nearly all the aforementioned reasons, and remains one of the most influential, controversial, and revered series ever attempted: Norman Lear's All in the Family. Loosely based on the British sitcom, Til Death Do Us Part, All in the Family was a massive success for Lear and CBS, leading to a sprawling sitcom universe that included Good Times, Maude, The Jeffersons, and several direct follow-ups to All in the Family, including Archie Bunker's Place and Gloria. While groundbreaking in their own right, each of these series owed their...

Not all movie romances need to be perfect examples of a healthy and functional relationship. There are all sorts of stories worth telling, many of which feature inherently flawed love interests. However, there are also some love interests that are such healthy and balanced characters that they stand out from the rest.
Healthy love interests have a firm understanding of themselves. When it comes to inevitable conflict or disagreement, they tend to come from a place of wanting to understand the other person rather than needing to win. They also have a strong sense of self-worth, as well as respect for who their partner is as an individual. That's not to say they don't have flaws, of course. But even with their flaws, they're very well-rounded individuals with functional and healthy romantic relationships.

Classic sci-fi novel The Island of Dr. Moreau gets modern adaptation called Eyes in the Trees with Anthony Hopkins in the lead role. Hopkins, known for his iconic roles, continues to deliver impressive performances in new movies. Despite his age, the legendary actor shows no signs of slowing down with multiple projects lined up, showcasing his enduring talent.
First published in 1896, The Island of Dr. Moreau is widely regarded as a seminal work of science fiction literature by English writer H.G. Wells. The novel was first adapted for the big screen in 1932 as Island of Lost Souls, once more in 1977 with Burt Lancaster, and again in 1996 in a version that starred Val Kilmer and Marlon Brando that remains controversial to this day, mainly due to its conflict between the two. Now, Sir Anthony Hopkins is set to helm yet another adaptation of the classic novel, this time in a version titled Eyes in the Trees.

The 1996 version of The Island of Dr. Moreau, which was directed by John Frankenheimer (who replaced Richard Stanley after half a week of filming), is a well-known disaster, but that was just one of many cinematic adaptations H.G. Wells’ 1896 novel has received over the years. That novel has inspired the 1932 classic Island of Lost Souls, 1959’s Terror Is a Man, 1972’s The Twilight People, a 1977 film that actually kept the The Island of Dr. Moreau title, the Full Moon production Dr. Moreau’s House of Pain, and more. Now we can add another title to the list, as Deadline reports that Academy Award winner Anthony Hopkins has signed on to star in the The Island of Dr. Moreau reimagining Eyes in the Trees.

The Christmas Classic brings an A-list spin to the classic Christmas romance genre, starring Malin Akerman, Amy Smart, and Ryan Hansen. The film is a unique blend of holiday rom-com, the Shop Around the Corner trope, and winter sports, telling the story of Elizabeth Bird as she navigates love and family. Director Shane Dax Taylor breaks from his action-packed films to create a lighter Christmas comedy, inspired by his own experiences skiing and watching Hallmark/Lifetime films.
The classic Christmas romance archetype set by Hallmark and Lifetime gets a bigger-budget, A-list, and more mature spin with the new film, The Christmas Classic, starring Malin Akerman (Children's Hostpial), Amy Smart (Just Friends), Ryan Hansen (Party Down), Austin Nichols (One Tree Hill), Carlos Alazraqui (Reno 911!), and Chris Mullinax (The Comeback Trail). Directed by Shane Dax Taylor (The Best Man) and co-written by Taylor and Austin Nichols, the film hits theaters today, November 3rd.

The Bell Keeper opens on a reasonably strong note for what appears to be an indie slasher. An axe-wielding figure, we’ll later find out his name is Hank, dispatches a pair of victims and adds their driver’s licenses to the collection on his cabin wall. The only as to why, “You shouldn’t have rung the bell”.
This happens at Lake Bell which, as the newspaper headlines under the credits tell us, has a long and evil reputation that includes lots of brutal deaths and mysterious disappearances. So of course filmmakers Gabriel, and Matthew want to make a documentary about it.

Nothing could prepare you for the giant mess that Timothy Woodward Jr.’s Ready Or Not knock-off turns out to be. I mean, for a film to not be a satire and still come off as though it were parodying itself is the kind of well-rounded defeat that not even the overeager action sequences could have prevented. Treading the line between two timelines that seemingly come together to throw an off-registry deadly wedding gift the Bride’s way, Til Death Do Us Part doesn’t skimp on the bloodshed. Here’s how our gorgeous Bride-in-red aims for a life away from the one that’s been holding her hostage.

For Ukranian-American actress Natalie Burn, growing up as a ballerina and going to ultra-competitive schools in Moscow and London was surprisingly effective training for surviving Hollywood.

Til Death Do Us Part is the latest action movie that audiences should get excited for. It's got an intriguing story, brilliant performances and kick-ass action to boot. Sure, the movie does draw many similarities to movies like Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill and the action/comedy, Ready or Not, but Til Death Do Us Part offers more than enough to make it stand out among the rest.
Til Death Do Us Part tells the story of a Bride who, after running from the altar, is pursued by an array of deadly groomsmen as they attempt to get her back to her groom. The Bride puts up one hell of a fight however, as she proves that the groomsmen are in for more than they bargained for.

Plot: After bailing on her wedding, a former bride-to-be must fight off her ex-groom and seven angry killer groomsmen in order to survive the night.
Review: I always love a good revenge story. Ever since Kill Bill, even having a character named The Bride automatically evokes the imagery of Uma Thurman in that yellow and black jumpsuit. So I went into Til Death Do Us Part expecting something with a lot of personality. Sure, it was never going to live up to the Tarantino classic but that’s okay. Few do. And while the characters don’t hit quite as hard as I’d have liked, there’s a fun mystery present that elevates the film. Because the question of why this woman ditched out on her wedding doesn’t have an answer that you may expect. And that’s why I ended up enjoying myself, despite its many flaws.

Orlando Jones was all smiles when we caught up with him about his new movie, Til Death Do Us Part. He jokes that, though the movie is very different from the major box office hits in theaters now like Barbie and Oppenheimer, Til Death Do Us Part is a fun film to add to your watch list.
The film follows a bride as she runs away from her wedding, and a lifestyle she wants to leave behind. However, that just won't do, and the best man and groomsmen go after her, determined to bring her back. What starts as a retrieval mission turns into a bloodbath as the bride and men fight to the death.
MovieWeb had the opportunity to speak with Orlando Jones to hear his thoughts about creating his character and working with co-star Natalie Burn.

Til Death Do Us Part is a lackluster horror/action thriller with wonky dialogue, an overlong runtime, and a tedious script. The film has potential with gore and enjoyable kills, but the storytelling falls short, making it a chore to watch. Natalie Burn's performance as the runaway bride is the saving grace of the film, but overall, it lacks proper execution and a cohesive script.

Since John Wick made blockbuster bucks with a mid-budget film, many movies have tried to capitalize on secret assassin organizations and tragic characters seeking to move away from a life of violence, from Nobody to Gunpowder Milkshake. Til Death Do Us Part is the latest movie in this trend, pitching an assassin bride-to-be (Natalie Burn) against a group of ruthless killers bent on destroying her. Unfortunately, the film completely ignores what made all these movies successful, delivering underwhelming action scenes, undercooked characters, and slow pacing that makes this almost two-hour movie overstay its welcome.

Stars: Cam Gigandet, Natalie Burn, Ser’Darius Blain, Jason Patric, Nicole Arlyn, Orlando Jones, Pancho Moler, D.Y. Sao | Written by Chad Law, Shane Dax Taylor | Directed by Timothy Woodward Jr.
As Til Death Do Us Part opens The Best Man sits in a pew working on his speech as upbeat music plays in the background. That’s followed by similar glimpses of other wedding party members prepping for the ceremony. A flashback to The Bride and Groom, nobody in this film has a name, on vacation serves to reinforce the happy image.
But Til Death Do Us Part isn’t a Hallmark Channel rom-com or Lifetime Channel thriller. Because when The Bride gets cold feet and bails on the wedding, we find out everyone involved in the ceremony is a highly skilled assassin. Now the stood-up Groom wants more than just his ring back, and their employer doesn’t take resignations well.
