Bring Back Alice

I have no idea why this series gets such low ratings! An interesting storyline unfolds, there are nice young actors, it is not a bunch of gags or scenes. Sure, it has moments where there are, let's say, some frictions, but overall - good job. I had a great time.

I am able to imagine that someone might have completely different expectations, but for me, this new approach to the story was the most exciting element.

The only problem I see is the sound in the series. At times it is uneven and you cannot hear the dialogue well.

However, it has to be said that this is a series for entertainment, not intellectual highs. Either way, I'm all for it!

I found this show by accident and watched it in Polish w/English subtitles. I am SO glad I did! Btw, if you try to watch the English dub there will be no translation of the texts sent between people. I really liked the setup; the way the story unfolded, flawed and subject to Ala's memory issues; and the "rich kids doing bad things" trope often hooks me. I like the music, alot. I am 6 episodes in and wondering if it's over or if there will be more. Because I want more. I don't know where the lower ratings are from as every review with comments is very positive. And I agree with them that more people should give it a chance.

Well known influencer have been missing for a year. She dissapeard after a hudge party with her friends at the ship. Suddenly she is found, on the street with no memory.

This sounds like a great begining of an even better story. But it's not.

Main problem is the acting, aspecially from the older generation of actors. Many of them looks like they have been brought here from some classic TV soap opera. It's aspecially visible in the firsts episodes. The young crew is making a better job, but it's also not perfect. I appreciate the performance by main actress who plays the role of Alicja.

Main story could be much more interesting if it would not be focused so much on romanses. Best time of the show is the investingations.

Show have some good scenes, and well choosed music for them.

If you want to watch a good Polish series with similar athmosphere, I could recommend the first season of Belfer.

After last episode, where HBO present Catholics as psychopaths, I must taka away one star, too much propaganda.

I dont know why people rated this show so low. I guess they did not even bother to watch it. It is good! So if you think you would like a show like Pretty little liars with a little bit of Euphoria and 13 Reasons why.... it is for you. For a polish tv series I think they did a pretty good job. The characters look fresh, the cinematography is nice, the music, the view of the city, the actors are very good, the storyline is intriguing, it is relatable for me because in my country there was a story like this with two girls.... so yes... you should give it a try. Its is something old but in a new perspective.

I'm three episodes in, and so far, it's great! I'm honestly not sure why it has low ratings -.seriously. The story slowly unfolds with a great plot, and a great group of young actors.

Is it at the Euphoria level? Not quite - but it's definitely a great Euphoria adjacent alternative. For anyone who's looking for a dramatic, suspenseful show to watch, I highly recommend this. Between the music, the costumes, the storyline, and the acting, it's a wonderful series - you won't be disappointed.
