A fantasy? An allegory? A pseudo intellectual art house load or something a bit different and maybe even special?
I couldn't work it out.
I liked bits of it alot. I didn't like bits of it. I was intrigued by the way people behave when confronted with something unknown and how they can lose all perspective on those around them.
It is somewhat prone to a type of violence. There is a home invasion which presents so many confronting issues and this was hard for me to watch because some of us have had home invasions in our own lives.
The acting was 'stripped' of acting and felt more like a documentary and in this aspect it was very good.
The 'moral' of the story... well, I'm not sure if it was brilliant or pretentious.
Definitely worth the watch if you like a story which is different and will have you thinking.
