Now DeBlois has written, directed, and produced a live-action remake of How to Train Your Dragon – and now it’s gotten an official premiere date. With the Karate Kid Universe expanding, Netflix's Cobra Kai keeps making William Zabka's Johnny Lawrence one of the most relatable characters in the franchise. He has achieved redemption, shown emotional depth as a father, and an endearing side as a sensei. He's being his best self and trying to atone for all his past sins. In the process, he helped Ralph Macchio's Daniel Larusso improve, too.

Daniel had a bit of an ego, but as he merged Miyagi-Do with Johnny's Cobra Kai dojo, he learned more about himself along the way. It cements how important Johnny has been in the entire journey after starting off as a villain.

While casual manga readers will enjoy short and sweet titles like Demon Slayer and Death Note, other manga series feel like a marathon to read, and with the best titles, it is absolutely worth the time and effort. If a reader really wants to, they could power through a long manga series and finish it sooner than later with a few binge sessions, but manga can also be savored over time. Also, a reader may be juggling many manga and anime series at once, making binging a less appealing option.

If a manga reader wants to take their time with a lengthy title and juggle it with quicker reads, there are plenty of strong options to choose from, including both complete and ongoing series. These lengthy manga titles may take a year or longer to finish when read that way, and they will reward any reader's patience with excellent stories and fantastic art.

"Cobra Kai" Season 6 Part 3 doesn't hesitate to give its main characters their just desserts. While the show sweeps several members of its extensive cast to the sidelines out of necessity, Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence's (William Zabka) inner circles get perfectly satisfactory happy endings, each tailor made for the character in question. Likewise, the franchise's two biggest overarching antagonists get a thematically appropriate send-off, as 1980s uber-villains John Kreese (Martin Kove) and Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) die in an explosive and extremely 1980s-coded yacht punch-up.

However, not everyone gets what they deserve. In fact, by the time the credits roll for the series finale, titled "Ex-Degenerate," two major characters quite literally get away with murder.

Disney just shifted this summer’s Pixar movie Elio by one week from June 13 to June 20.

Typically, the June Pixar movies go out during Father’s Day weekend, but Disney is going a week later with this one.

Elio moves away from being head-to-head with Universal/DreamWorks’ live-action take of How to Train Your Dragon on June 13, and instead will go head-to-head with the adult skewing zombie title 28 Years Later on June 20.

In addition, the date shift for Elio creates space in Disney’s summer slate, giving Lilo & Stitch (5/23) more room to play, with the Pixar title still ahead of anticipated blockbuster The Fantastic Four: First Steps (7/25). Elio will be the only animated release in the wide gap between Looney Tunes (3/14) and Smurfs (7/18).

However, the Netflix action show doesn't want to overstay its welcome. By dragging on, it might lose the luster and magic of karate in the Valley. Rather than jump the shark, the story ends with a bang as the action comes back from Spain to Los Angeles. It sets up brutal confrontations on and off the mat, brings closure to many character arcs, and teases one extra chapter in store for a key character.

Universal dropped the first trailer for the DreamWorks “How to Train Your Dragon” live-action remake on February 12, following the high-flying teaser seen during the Super Bowl. We've heard Ormund's name on the show before but have yet to see him in the flesh. Ormund is the son of Hobert Hightower, played by Steffan Rhodri in the first season of the show. Early in the first season, Hobert was the head of House Hightower and the ruler of Oldtown, but by the time the Dance of the Dragons civil war begins, that title has passed to his son Ormund.

Big casting news has been revealed for the upcoming third season of House of the Dragon. Season 3 will serve as the penultimate season for the series, which was previously renewed through a fourth and final season.

Per Variety, actor James Norton has boarded the cast of House of the Dragon Season 3. He will play Ormund Hightower, a character who was referenced in Season 2 but not shown on-screen. A character description for Ormund reads, "Otto’s (Rhys Ifans) nephew, Alicent (Olivia Cooke) and Gwayne’s (Freddie Fox) cousin, and the Lord of Oldtown. With the very first edition of Dungeons & Dragons now over 50 years old, there's a multitude of stories out there that could potentially be brought to life on the small screen. Given the uncertainty around what the next live-action D&d project will look like after Paramount drops their Dungeons & Dragons show, there's a lot of speculation and ideation happening in fan spaces about what may come next.

Many speculate that D&d adventure modules would be the best starting point for a TV adaptation, as the hundreds of published modules are all packed with exciting events. Yet there's a difference between exciting events and a compelling story – a distinction many aspiring D&d dungeon masters need to understand – so it may be better to look to the multitude of D&d novels for inspiration instead. With over 500 published since the first, the franchise has plenty of source material to pick from.

Nle Choppa and Imagine Dragons are teaming up.

The 22-year-old rap superstar and the rock band joined forces for “Dare U,” out on Thursday (January 16), a groundbreaking collaboration which marks Choppa‘s first effort in the rock/alternative music space.

The defiant track is described in a release as “a battle cry for the bold,” and features an anthemic hook from Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds: “Dare u, dare u, say it to my face.”

Dragons in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter are kind of like dogs in real life: there are numerous breeds, each with defining characteristics and traits. In the written works of J. K. Rowling, there have been exactly ten breeds revealed to the audience. In the in-universe book Dragon Breeding for Pleasure and Profit, there were notes about two more (the Catalonian Fireball and the Portuguese Long-Snout), but it is believed that these two may have gone extinct by the time the movies and books take place.

Kevin Feige’s MCU will be bringing back Chris Evans for the upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday and with the return of Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, it seems like Marvel Studios is grasping at all strings to deliver a blockbuster. Since Avengers: Endgame, the franchise has been stumbling hard and has only had some spikes in its graph.

However, bringing back fan-favorite characters who have had their arcs completed may not be the best idea to improve the MCU.
