In the movie, Hammarskjöld buys the Backåkra estate in Skåne (Southern part of Sweden) in 1960 or 1961, but in fact he bought it already in 1957. Also, the Beskow daughter Maria seem to be about 6 or 7 years old when she in fact was born in 1958.
