People need to learn how to read

This 'film' is not a NEW movie. When you book it, it literally tells you that this is the two final episodes of season 2 and the brand new season 3 premiere.

I have no idea why so many people are moaning that they got scammed. Do they lack any patience and fail to read things before getting annoyed that their biases were wrong?

As for this showing- it's a lot of fun. Episode 10 looks amazing on the big screen, episode 11 is a gut-wrenching tale and the season 3 premiere looked amazing on the big screen.

One con is that they didn't remove the credits for episodes 10 and 11, leading to some awkward pauses in the flow.

If you're disappointed, you should've googled what this was prior.

They were completely upfront in saying that this was the last two episodes of Season 2 and the double length premiere of Season 3. If you are mad that this is that, blame it on your own ignorance.

Seeing that penultimate episode on the big screen alone is worth the price for me. The Season 3 premiere was a solid first episode, but I'm glad they included the last two to give some action, as S3E1 is largely a setup episode. Even if it'd be cool to have seen more of next season, it was cool to get the sneak peek. And the new opening was great.

This was a really fun experience, especially since I'd waited to watch the two final episodes of Season 2.

    Be aware.

This would really be 8 or 9 for me but I'm giving it a 5 because this doesn't need to be a trend.

I really liked what they did with Mugen Train and the movie being the first half of the last season of the show.

Here though? I knew it was going to be the last episodes of last season and the first episode of the next season but...

I didn't mind it in this case because at the end of last season, as I was watching it, I thought to myself that I'd really like to see these scenes on the big screen. With that... the episodes from last season were fine but did you have to put credits at the end of them and even the opening theme to it? There were even a few times it did the cut as if it was going to commercial(we all know how anime does that-don't bring that part of it to theaters). They briefly recapped the first season and 2nd season near the beginning.

I could understand if they were going to add some deleted scenes to the previous episodes or something but that's not what this was.

Because of all that, for that new material, it honestly wasn't worth the price of admission for just that. What should've been about 1 hour, and 10 minutes ended up being stretched out to a runtime of 1 hour, and 50 minutes.

If you're going to reuse old stuff and take my money, at least don't waste my time.

Mostly recap, but holy the animation in the new episode!!!!!

A lot of you dislike about the movie because it's mostly recap and poorly edited together. Yes, that is true, but holy the new episode makes up for it. The cgi animation completely blows every other anime out of the water. The camera controls and large scale shots were immaculate, and the comedy afterwards was great too. And some of you may say it's bad because there were no action scenes, but I think it would be weird to expect another fight right after the last season ended. So overall, this is a great movie, but it should have been edited together more seamlessly. I did find sitting through credits 2 times midway through the movie a bit weird.

It is recommended for the adolescence.

The anime it self is a masterpiece . An anime or any movie is made with story, acting, screen play, art etc. But this anime stand's out because the animation is outstanding. And the stories are mediocre. The story is not very good or very bad actually I personally like it. This anime is very unique in animation. And other things are very mediocre. This anime is for 10 years and up . But I think the adults would not like this very much because it lacks very important things like r-rated dialogues , r-rated violence .

So yeah 👍 it lacks in many things but animation gives them a extra push to be a good anime . I suggest this animated everyone.

    • Trivia
Despite CrunchyRoll's attempts to make it clear this was meant to be the Season Premiere and nothing more, Many Fans were left unaware the Film was merely a Compilation and were Disappointed to find it was not an actual Movie, like the Mugan Train Film. Some also argue other anime films such as "Kaguya: Love is War: the First Kiss that Never Ends" were given limited releases to focus on marketing and releasing this film instead.
