Ahn Hee Yeon plays Hee Jae who has never had an orgasm even though she has been in a relationship for over five years, her friend is Mina played by Bae Woo Hee who enjoys casual sex without love. Together they end up presenting a podcast about female sexuality and pleasure and during this they both take different paths in their lives. It is a mildly erotic adult themed series which talks openly about female sexuality and in that is unusual for a Korean drama. The problem I had with it is that it also contains the cutesy coincidental meetings and circumstances often associated with romantic Korean drama which seems to clash with the adult theme.
I'm so impressed. It's been a long time since we got a r-rated series which balances important topics perfectly. It's not just typical whattpad mature series. It talks about sex life and important issues that society label as "embarasing" to talk about openly. The actors acted so well. Special mention to hani. It's my first tym knowing her. As an idol she chose a role of the genre that others will most probably decline. She justified her character so beautifully. The dialogues are so real and honest it makes my toes curl and gives me butterflies. This should be on Netflix. This is the type of mature content that should reach more and more audience.
It's not easy to make a movie that explores the taboo of sex, orgasm, and uncommitted relationships. I felt this series was very relatable and artfully made to avoid vulgarity. It feels like a very real story, with no nonsense twisted plot and unrealistic characters. The acting is stellar, and 8 episodes was the perfect format. It made me regret not being as bold as the characters and not introspecting more myself.
This isn't your traditional vanilla k drama, but it's definitely one I'd recommend watching if you're looking for something a little more intense and yet realistic. Every bit reminded me of my own stories, that's rare.

Well this was outright sex acts, There wasn't much left to the imagination. It starts off with a full out sex scene with a ridiculous warning that is too late - not appropriate for work. Who watches K-Drama's at work in the first place? But even if you did, it would be one embarrassing moment as a sex scene comes on approx first second of the show. My take on this is that this unusual style for a Korean Drama is that the writers are trying to copy the short Japanese K-Drama's (usually 8 episodes) that have been popular lately that are romantic and full of sex. However, this drama wasn't romantic at all, but more of vulgar instruction. I would rather watch the J-Drama that has just as much sex but more romantic in nature.
This is a super short but intense drama.
It's obviously extremely polemic because of the high explicit sexual content in it. Im from Spain and I come from a culture, where is completely natural to be open about sex and skinship and there's no taboo or judgement for it, so I'm used to this kind of content but it's shocking being a fan of kdrama and knowing how different it is over there to see such series.
I have to say everything related to sex it's written and done with such good taste, it's beautifully produced and never tacky or obscene. It's also a very refreshing take because it's written from the women's point of view and they will talk without taboos about many many problems women face trying to face their own sexuality in a close minded society like in South Korea.
I loved how whoever watches this show will learn a lot about how sex is supposed to be and feel and whether it's with a partner or by yourself. Every woman has the right of deciding whats best for them.
There's 4 leads in this drama, the two women as leads and the males as their counterparts.
The two friends have and absolute amazing chemistry and it's so much fun being such opposite characters getting along so well and being family to each other. Just loyalty, support and love, such a wonderful friendship without judgement whatsoever.
Each of them has a storyline with a different male and here's where I think the drama was too short. The main story was Hani's and was carefully developed and you could see the couple's evolution very clearly, it felt real. Their chemistry was no joke as well.
The second storyline was the one with Lee Mi Na and even though I absolutely loved her character and her performance, the relationship with the 2nd male lead was rushed, underdeveloped and very predictable. I wished they would have dedicated the same time for her storyline ( which included a past trauma) and it was extremely interesting, but felt to me like wasted potential.
Overall its such a great watch, very enjoyable and love the sex theme! The actors are incredibly attractive as well which always helps!
I hope this is the first of many kdramas with such open production!
