Garcelle Beauvais is exiting The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The star made the announcement herself in an Instagram video on Tuesday, the morning before the finale airs for the 14th season of the Bravo series. In her video, she cited her family and acting and producing projects outside of the show as the reason for her exit, while also leaving the door open to return in some capacity down the line.

Bravo has confirmed the news to The Hollywood Reporter; a source confirmed to THR that she is leaving on her own accord.

“So I have some news. I’ve decided to leave Beverly Hills,” said Beauvais in her video. “It’s been a wild ride. I mean, some amazing things have happened and some hard things have also happened, but it’s been a ride nevertheless. One of the reasons why I’m leaving is my family, my boys.

The two women hit it off since the moment they met and the other women are having difficulty understanding it.

However, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newbie understands it all too well and she thinks her castmates are jealous of their friendship.

She also called out the hypocrisy in the group, slamming the ladies for criticizing their relationship.

Bozoma rightly pointed out that some persons on the cast are closer than others, case in point, Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais.

Garcelle recently brought attention to a conversation between the newly minted friends that didn’t involve the group, claiming they felt left out.

However, Bozoma defended her actions and now we’re wondering if this drama is why she recently hinted at quitting the show.

A year after that incident, Dorit was robbed again, this time of $10,000 in cash while Christmas shopping at Marshalls.

The topic is being discussed again this season, and during a conversation, Garcelle said she didn’t think Dorit was involved in the home invasion but that someone else was.

The actress and producer updated us on her friendship with Dorit Kemsley, whom she had not been getting along with after some unfortunate comments last season.

In a recent episode of the Rhobh: After Show, Kemsley said no one from the cast, except Erika Jayne and Kyle Richards, reached out to her after she announced she was getting separated from her husband.

Following their collaboration on the Black Girl Missing movie released last year—starring and executive produced by Beauvais—Lifetime is extending the franchise with two new movies to be EP’ed by Beauvais. Black Girl Missing earned a Gracie and Astra Award from the Hollywood Critics Alliance for Best Television Movie, as well as received nominations for an NAACP Image Award, a Black Reel Award and a Rockie Award. The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (Awmf) has announced the 49th Annual Gracie Awards winners.

This year’s winners include Michelle Obama, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Glennon Doyle, Rachel Brosnahan, Maria Shriver, Gayle King, Angela Yee, and Nicole Kidman, among many others. Some of the shows honored include Yellowjackets and Only Murders in the Building, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and more.

“As Women’s History Month draws to a close, we honor the remarkable women storytellers whose courage and resilience continue to inspire us,” Becky Brooks, President of Awmf, said in a statement. “Their stories, strengths, and influence are actively shaping our present and future. The impact of women is undeniable, and we look forward to celebrating these powerful contributions and achievements at the upcoming Gracie Awards.”

That much we’ve surmised watching them go at it on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

During the first part of the Rhobh Season 13 reunion, their feud intensified somewhat after they got the chance to watch the episodes back.

If you’ve kept up to speed with the series this season then you know that Beauvais took issue with Kemsley’s word choice when she said she felt “attacked.”

The 47-year-old whined at the reunion that Beauvais was holding on to the grudge of her, Kyle Richards, Paul “Pk” Kemsley, and Mauricio Umansky laughing about Erika Jayne swearing at her son.

It’s been a big start to 2024 for Colman Domingo and Ayo Edebiri who — after earning their first Oscar nomination and Emmy win, respectively — lead the pack of film and TV nominees for the 55th NAACP Image Awards.

Fantasia Barrino, Halle Bailey and Keke Palmer — three multihyphenate talents who happened to share the screen with Domingo and Usher this year — round out the nominees for that award.

Abbott Elementary really made the grade when nominations for the 55th NAACP Awards were announced Thursday.

Based on the suspenseful novel by Zakiya Dalila Harris, Hulu and Onyx Collective’s “The Other Black Girl” tackles the issue of systemic racism in the workplace through a thrilling lens. Produced by Rashida Jones, the show follows Nella Rogers (Sinclair Daniel) as she battles microaggressions and the isolation of being the only Black girl at Wagner Books. That is until the publishing house hires Hazel May McCall (Ashleigh Murray). At first, Nella is overjoyed, but she starts to realize that though they share skin color and culture, the two girls could not be more different.
