    Waiting on season 2

The captivating narrative unfolded in each episode, revealing intricate details about the elusive missing gold and the remarkable team Terry Delonas assembled for the quest. Every minute was meticulously documented, leaving ample unrevealed footage. The six-part series was a riveting experience, and I'm eager for future productions to delve deeper into the unanswered questions. Terry Delonas's unwavering dedication, overcoming numerous obstacles for a lifelong mission, is truly commendable. The documentary stands out as the finest I've ever seen, with producers skillfully presenting the enigma of Victorio Peak and the relentless pursuit of the lost gold. A resounding five-star plus rating, and I eagerly anticipate further exploration into these intriguing mysteries.

    Amazing Story

What an amazing story, finally being able to be told.

Every moment of the series explained new information about the missing gold and the amazing team Terry Delonas assembled to find the gold. Every minute of each episode was well documented and I'm sure there is miles of footage yet to be shown. I enjoyed every episode in this six part series. I'm hoping that the producers will be able to present more documentation in future series to hopefully find where the gold ended up. I'm so amazed at how Terry Delonas has made this a life long mission, enduring so many obstacles to put these questions of where the gold is to rest.

I'm looking for more series to developers and find those missing questions.

This was the best real life documentary I've ever viewed and the producers did a great job in trying to get as much information out on Victorio Peak and the quest to find the missing gold. I would give this a five star plus rating and look forward to learning more.

    Well-directed, compelling, slightly gullible

The story in a nutshell, part one. A lifelong con artist named "Doc" Noss (not a real doctor) claims to have discovered piles of gold, a whole room full of Conquistador treasure. It is claimed that he showed solid gold bricks to many people and buried others. But the only evidence shown on camera is some old coins, costume jewelry and, inexplicably, a suit of armor (were the Conquistadors riding around New Mexico wearing plate armor?). Sadly, the gold room is lost in an explosion. Doc Noss gets all his friends to donate thousands of dollars for his excavation. He finds nothing and disappears one day abandoning his wife, who continues to believe in the treasure until her death.

Part two. An Army dentist claims that he met someone with some of Doc Noss's treasure. It was a literal treasure map, a yellow parchment showing the entrance of the cave and location of the gold room, which Doc Noss did not draw himself but found in the cave (figure that one out). It's claimed that the dentist wandered around the mountain after it became an Army base, walked straight into the gold room somehow and got his Army buddies to dig it up for him. The dentist is shown bankrupt and living in a trailer, but the descendants of Doc Noss insist that he was a rich man, because he donated money to his university.

This story is a massive hallucination, and this show tells it with a bit too straight a face. But it's also a fascinating story with many twists and turns. The production value is amazing, a great compilation of old interviews, new interviews, B-roll, and crappy footage of the 1993 excavation of the site seemingly filmed in Hi8.

    take a shovel...

And join in digging the noss familys quest to salvage the gold out of the mountain victorio peak, white sands (at the darn outskirts of it ),new mexico, a gold treasure thats highly probable were there, and most certainly is there...anyway...

the unique thing about this documentary is that it fangs the cinematographic story over such a vast period of time, and still there are 1000's of hour still to make more episodes of, and their ability to keep the tension and excitement to the litterally speaking bitter end is just a kinderegg surprise to all of us that has carried a metal detector finding the ultimate gloryhole of the mountain, because the ''midas touch'' really is a strong force that drives people into a serious thing called madness, so if you have a dribbling talented snout for gold the contact the director.

Me, the grumpy old man may offer my help with my metal sticks, that have made me able to map old watercaverns and ditches, and net of water pipelines at my workplace and my properties(not so many though), and those sticks magical properties may work on the noble metal of gold too. So forward me a ticket to the deserts and ill help...

what this really should be is a film review, its a bit repetitive , or fells like that due to headbanging the walls of pentagon denying every kind of search and rescue operations due to ''national security reasons'', but it doesnt crush the excitement at all if you like exploring.

So my prayer goes to the government and the president of the united states of america. Let these people end what theyve started, its just a heap of stone rubble that consists a higher danger now that the story has been told drawing god and everyone else in doing their own surveys and digging without knowing the real hazards of the mountain, and the claims owners do have the clues and knowledge to finish this job. The u.s.army engineering corps couldve offered a batalion to help moving this mountain, so make a bend on the wsmr (straight) border lines and let this people go in...

i hope a sequel will come sometime in the future, this was really interesting, and if you find a bone, dont call the archeologists cause theyll put a band on everything,a recommend from the grumpy old man.

    Captivating story that's directed perfectly

I watched the whole season in one sitting. The story really grabs ahold of you and you find yourself immediately invested in the outcome.

Personally, I really enjoyed the way that the story line went back and forth from past to present as it helps you keep up with how it started to where it is currently at. The ups and downs that the crew goes through inside season 1 has you experiencing all the feels. I loved how much the passion for the project inside the group comes out and it's not just about the gold.

As a former athlete, watching the people involved become a unified group and grow together as a family working towards a common goal, is really special.

    I can't wait for season 2!
