Had high hopes but it fell short.

Seemed like a good idea. Bring back the great Schoolhouse Rock shorts with a modern twist. The problem was the "modern twist" was a little too modern. Not only did they swap the original songs to live modern acts, they also swapped out a lot of the original cute animations for extended shots of the live-action performances. In my opinion this took it too far away from the spirit of the original pieces. They really seemed to be trying to push the nostalgia angle but totally missed it with the format they decided to go with. I feel like they could have made it much better if the new singers sang the songs the same way the originals were and the complete original animations were used.

Horrible tribute to what WAS once educational fun.

DO NOT BOTHER with Disney's 50th Anniversary of Schoolhouse Rocks!

The Original ABC Schoolhouse Rocks STILL REMAINS THE BEST as it was produced by educators who respected the intelligence of its younger audience.

Disney's 50th anniversary released recently IS THE TOTAL OPPOSITE.

It's Garbage. To a point where the new "stars" singing the songs OBVIOUSLY did not know the content of what they were singing of.

We could tell that these new "performers" and the producers of the NEW 50th anniversary HAD NO CLUE of what the Original Schoolhouse Rocks series truly gave us, and obviously did not know what a noun, verb or adjective was.

Shame on Disney for dumbing-down a great series,50 years later.

Horrible, do not waste your time nor your children's time with this NEW version, show them the original versions. At least then they will be learning something of value.
