I have watched both versions and think that the Turkish version is just as good. Yes having watched the American version first you can't help but compare the actors but after the 3rd you forget the comparisons and enjoy the series on it's own merit. Loved it
I've compared both the shows American and Turkish and my conclusion was that the Turkish version works better for me cause they drag the topic a little more compared to the original and the scenarios are exactly the same with each other and also the Turkish version is twice as long which is perfect for this shows storyline. The male actors might not catch your attention at first but in time you might grow to love them.I think the male actors are chosen for there acting skills rather than there looks...Give it a chance till about part 4 and than decide...And don't forget that some great shows don't have a good start off point when crappy shows start off great but die out quick...
The series is full of sensational details which I truly felt from the first episode till the last one. In addition, the choosing of the suitable actor was on point. She performes her character in a very unique and cold way. She isn't exaggerating at all so that you would feel that you are watching a real life story not a series.
However, there are some lack of chemistry between the characters, but somehow that wasn't clear much. Also, the American version is better actually, but not to the extent that it would be way more better than the Turkish version. It is an American story with a different unique Turkish touch!
