Addison Timlin and Andy Abele in The Town That Dreaded Sundown (2014)

Trivia

The Town That Dreaded Sundown

Edit
The character Nick (Travis Tope) mentions that his mother is a patient at "Trans-Allegheny". Trans-Allegheny is the name of a historic mental hospital located in Weston, West Virginia which ceased operating in 1994.
John Donnell plays a small role as a character named Sparkplug. This is an homage to a character from the original film.
The character "Lone Wolf" Morales is a composite name between the former real life Texas Ranger Captain "Lone Wolf" Gonzaullas and the original movie's fictional version, J.D. Morales.
This is a meta-sequel/reboot of the 1976 film by the same name based on the "Texarkana Moonlight Murders", a string of killings enacted by the so-called Phantom Killer.
In addition to playing Charles B. Pierce, Jr. in the film, actor Denis O'Hare also voices the narration heard at the beginning of the film.
