Indie fight flick from Italy

Marketed wrong as a martial art flick

When i started watching this movie i was in the mood for a martial arts movie. I LOVE those movies like Bloodsport, Undisputed 3 or even the more moddest indy flicks catching on the concept. So i pour myself a beer and expect decent fights...

But that was not the case. The movie is more of a love story/drama, with a few very poorly choreographed fights thrown ocasionally. There is really not a lot of them, a couple and they are very basic, dare i say lame.

So i turned off the movie around half way cause its not the type of movie i wanna watch when im craving fights and the beer is good. But i came back to it and finished it on a different day and honestly the story is not "bad".

Another major problem of this movie is that its Italian and dubbed in english, but the dubbing is atrocious, like ultra bad, and on Amazon Prime where i watched it, there was no way to switch it to its original language with subtitles.

So since the movie's good part is the love story between the 2 main characters, you need good convincing acting, and i can't say how the original version do on that part but the dubbing made it hard to watch.

Yet ultimately i ended up caring enough about these characters for finishing the movie and i think buried under bad dubbing, a false marketing of a fight movie, there is a decent story in a very indie flick. Thus why im giving it a 4 despite everything.

A Reason to Fight

Congratulations to the whole crew, indeed the composer, that makes an attractive and catchy music.

The film contains many scenes where is possible to identify the love between two protagonists. Other characters make the plot more complex and excited.Above all the movie suggests the spectator to take part and follow the story.

The composer has made many themes very useful to identify some situations and characters very rich of orchestral parts, the main theme represent some great parts of the movie.

Hope you will like it, Enjoy. Claudio Vadalà
