Kyle Kinane: Whiskey Icarus

This was the first stand-up comedy from Kyle Kinane for me and most certainly not the last. Whiskey Icarus is a good hour of entertainment. Kyle Kinane is a good story teller, with a good vocabulary and jokes that work. He's more one of those static performers, nothing flamboyant, just telling his stories and jokes. Nothing wrong with that when your jokes are good. Just don't expect him gesticulating or going back and forth on stage, that's not his style. There's an awkward moment with an annoying member of the audience, nothing major but you can see it bugs him. Other comedians would shut that attention seeker down with humor but Kyle Kinane hasn't much interaction with the audience so it felt a bit awkward. That said he immediately continued like nothing happened with his show afterwards and that's also professional. Good show!
