Arie Luyendyk Jr. in The Bachelorette (2003)
Sean Lowe Says Arie Luyendyk Jr. Filmed a 'Bachelor' Intro Years Ago (Exclusive)
Arie Luyendyk Jr. in The Bachelorette (2003)
Arie Luyendyk Jr. is our new Bachelor, but according to his old pal, Sean Lowe, he was almost the Bachelor once before!

Et spoke with Lowe and his wife, Catherine (Giudici) Lowe, by phone. Lowe, of course, was third runner-up on Emily Maynard's season of The Bachelorette in 2012, with Luyendyk coming in second. The two have remained friends, and Lowe, who was Bachelor in 2013, has always been a champion of Luyendyk following in his footsteps.

"I’ve been lobbying for Arie forever," Lowe reveals. "I think they actually told him he was going to be the Bachelor the year they told Chris Soules, and they even filmed some of [Arie's] intro package in Arizona, and ultimately pulled the rug out from underneath him in the end."

Chris Soules Files Motion to Dismiss All Charges Against Him

So, the history of the entire Bachelor franchise could've been completely different! Luyendyk was equally surprised this year when he got the...

'SNL': See Alec Baldwin's Trump, Paul Manafort Talk Charges, Share Shower
Alec Baldwin
Alec Baldwin's Donald Trump made a secret visit to former campaign manager Paul Manafort in the Saturday Night Live cold open that focused on the first of Robert Mueller's Team Trump arrests.

After sending a life-size dummy on the president's 13-day Asia trip, Trump popped into Manafort's apartment to talk about the charges against him, but the conversation wandered to other things.

"Everything is so politically correct now I'm surprised you can even say 'oriental rugs' anymore. By the way, these are fantastic," Trump said as he pointed down to the floor,...

Alec Baldwin as Trump on SNL, Here's How Harvey Weinstein Could've Gotten Away with It
Alec Baldwin jumped in the shower with SNL's Alex Moffat to mock the paranoia in Washington that everyone is wired. Baldwin reprieved his Donald Trump character, who took Moffat -- who plays Paul Manafort -- to the shower where it would be impossible to record their conversation. And then, of course, the Harvey Weinstein joke from Baldwin ... "What an idiot that Harvey Weinstein is, he could've gotten away with all of it if he was elected president.

Saturday Night Live (1975)
SNL's Trump Takes a Shower With Paul Manafort, Jeff Sessions, Mike Pence
Saturday Night Live (1975)
It’ll be hard to scrub the image of this weekend’s Saturday Night Live cold open out of your eyes.

After sending First Lady Melania on his trip to Asia with a “very convincing lookalike,” Alec Baldwin’s President Trump paid a visit to Paul Manafort, who is currently under house arrest following the indictment issued by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

‘SNL’: Alec Baldwin’s Trump Hits Shower With Manafort, Slams Harvey Weinstein
Update with video Alec Baldwin killed two birds with one SNL stone tonight, reprising his Trump to jab both the president and Harvey Weinstein. “What an idiot,” said Baldwin in character about the disgraced ex-Miramax honcho. “He could have gotten away with all of it if only he’d gotten himself elected president.” Unlike the real thing, Baldwin’s Trump was in the U.S. as Melania (Cecily Strong) and an Airplane-style inflatable Trump pilot headed to China. With Alex Moffat…...

Hawaii Five-0 Season 7 Episode 23 Review: Prelude
There's nothing like a study of the McGarrett-Danny dynamic.

Hawaii Five-0 Season 7 Episode 23 shows how an old case of Danny's actually led to their meeting.

The best part: not a cargument to be seen throughout.

Actually, the episode even managed to focus on another old relationship of Danny's: his with Tanaka, his former captain.

First things first, Danny shouldn't become a carpenter when he retires. He was Everydad, unable to build a race-car bed because he refused to follow the directions.

Then the last person he expected showed up at his door: Tanaka, with whom he never really got along.

It was great that Danny got a second chance to solve his last case with Hpd, one that got away.

Also, it allowed him to exorcise his guilt about having a witness disappear after Danny failed to pick up his call because he couldn't stop bickering with his ex-wife Rachel.

Ed Sheeran Reveals the Ingenious Way His Girlfriend Rescued Their Cat After It Jumped Out the Window
Ed Sheeran
When one of Ed Sheeran‘s cats escaped his home, his girlfriend Cherry Seaborn implemented the purr-fect rescue plan!

A proud owner of two female felines with snack-inspired names (Dorito and Calippo), Sheeran told People last week, “Dorito jumped out of a three-story window yesterday!”

“Cherry opened the window to let some air in, and she just jumped out,” the singer — whose new album ÷ currently tops the Billboard 200 chart — explained. “Cherry obviously freaked out; she’s in this closed-off garden that we can’t get into because it’s not our garden. So Cherry tied all of her scarves together...

James Pickens Jr., Ellen Pompeo, and Chandra Wilson in Grey's Anatomy (2005)
Exclusive: Sandra Oh and Anne Heche on 'Catfight,' Fight Scenes and Fighting for Roles
James Pickens Jr., Ellen Pompeo, and Chandra Wilson in Grey's Anatomy (2005)
Writing out the plot of Catfight makes it sound absolutely insane: The satire stars Sandra Oh as wino trophy wife Veronica and Anne Heche as failed artist Ashley, one-time college frenemies who run into each other years later and end up in a brawl that leaves Veronica comatose. Two years later, she wakes to find that she's lost everything and Ashley is now thriving. The two re-meet, another brawl ensues, Ashley goes into a coma and everything changes...again. There is also a war on terror, a not-so-subtle Trump diss, and a character called the Fart Machine. Then again, when you have a chance to watch the indie film (out March 3), it is that insane. Et sat down with the stars for a freewheeling discussion about their movie, why Oh doesn't want to talk about Grey's Anatomy and losing roles to each other.

Digital Media CEO Hopes PewDiePie’s Sponsors Dump Him: ‘What an Idiot’
Felix Kjellberg and Marzia Kjellberg at an event for PewDiePie (2010)
Monday night, Disney’s Maker Studios cut ties with YouTube star PewDiePie after videos of two men holding up anti-semitic signs he posted on his channel were uncovered by the Wall Street Journal. YouTube followed suit, canceling the second season of his “Scare PewDiePie” show on its premium service, YouTube Red, and pulling his channel from its ad program. TheWrap spoke to the CEO of a large digital media company who didn’t find PewDiePie’s Nazi humor funny and shed no tears for his very bad day. “What an idiot,” the CEO said. “I hope all his brand sponsors drop him,...

Find Out What Sent Kate Gosselin into a Panic at Her Sextuplets’ 12th Birthday Party
Kate Plus 8 (2010)
When you’ve got sextuplets, you have to get creative about planning birthday parties.

In an exclusive sneak peek at Tuesday’s episode of Kate Plus 8, Kate Gosselin arranges an elaborate scavenger hunt to celebrate her sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Leah and Joel’s 12th birthday — and of course, it doesn’t go off without a few small hiccups.

“The morning of the party, the kids’ energy was through the roof,” says Gosselin, 41, in the clip. “I was still worried down to the last minute if everything would make sense and work. They were just chomping at the...

Zoo Season 2 Episode 3 Review: Collision Point
This really is the best show on TV this summer.

There wasn't a second of down time on Zoo Season 2 Episode 3, and we were even treated to two mini crossovers!

Don't tell me you missed them. Oh, fine. I'll tell you all about them now!

We really have two separate storylines playing out, because poor Jamie is still out in the woods. At least she has a pal now.

It was a good news/bad news situation though, as she had no idea what Logan was lugging around in the duffel bag he was holding onto so tightly. It had to be something bad, right?

If you consider piles of money and pictures of Jamie bad, then your instincts were good!

They got it all figured out, to the point Logan gave Jamie his gun, and Jamie let Logan hack off her blackened big toe with an ax. So, yeah,...

[Berlin Review] Things to Come
The twists and turns of fate and the ways in which individuals react to them constitute the central preoccupations of Mia Hansen-Løve’s cinema. Her exceptional second feature, Father of My Children, observed a film producer’s escalating desperation in the face of snowballing debt, and then considered the impact of his unexpected suicide on the family he left behind. Her disappointing follow-ups, Goodbye First Love and Eden, charted the progressive dissolution of its protagonists’ idealism over a period of several years – a teenage couple’s fanciful notions of love and a DJ’s chimeric aspirations of success, respectively. Considering the largely universal relatability of the former and the fact that the latter represented a fictionalization of her own brother’s / co-writer’s path as a DJ, the tremendous accomplishment of Things to Come, which centers on the emotional tribulations of a woman in late middle-age, suggests that the 35-year-old...
