Queen of Kings

Queen of Kings (2022) is a movie that I recently watched on Tubi. The storyline follows a group of strippers in Detroit who are sick of their lifestyles and people making money off them and decide to turn the tables and flip on the local drug dealers. Can they trust each other enough to accomplish this daunting task or will they turn on each other further complicating matters?

This movie is written and directed by Coke Horner (Urban Envy) and stars Albritten Makeiva (Watch Your Back), Edward Donaldson (Turn of the Cheek), Daniel Jeffries (Without Grace) and Jared Kuzich (One More Flip).

The opening credits had me cracking up. It felt like the the characters want to shoot the audience. The storyline wasn't horrible and had some fun twists and turns. The girls were gorgeous but the acting was average. The sex scenes were hit or miss but not completely awkward. The action scenes and girl fights were mediocre to bad. The twist at the ends lends potential for a sequel (I'd watch it).

Overall, this is nothing special but not the worst thing I've ever seen. I would score this a 3/10 and recommend skipping it.

Strippers basically tired of being put to the side takes over under rule of an unknown boss that is revealed at the end. (Not a spoiler they make it known), decent CGI for the hood busget, sex scenes cool but damn alot of yall men gonna be mad at the calisthenics they be doing in those scenes. Decent twists, got all styles of drug men from the street idiots to over power hungry side kick to the over cautious Boss. If your a hood movie watcher this is one of the better ones out, although you will be left on a chillhanger. Gosh i hope they finish it, plot was decent enough to keep me engaged wanting a sequel.

Only made this review cuz the other dude who reviewed it was clearly looking for a high budget movie but forgets these are starter movies, where ppl are trying to put dreams together. Its decent for what it is. 6/10.
