    Funny and worth a rewatch

I'm not sure why this doesn't get better reviews, it's hilarious and refreshingly different. It made me belly laugh several times, and the last two lines of the movie may be the funniest ending out there. It's sort of in the vein of Napoleon Dynamite, an out there concept with hilarious one liners hidden throughout. Yeah it's kinda weird, but that's what makes it great. I've also rewatched a few times, it gets funnier each time and I pick up on jokes that I missed with the first watch. The writers and actors are great, it's believable even though the premise is farfetched. Give it a try if you need a laugh!

Refreshing Comedy In A Comedy Desert

Comedy movies are in a sad state and Let's Start A Cult is a breath of fresh air. It's not at the level of a lot of great comedies but Stavy carries this film and 90% of it is quite good. There are a few scenes where the acting is pretty questionable and a few pieces of the story could have been fleshed out a bit better but overall it really highlights the strength of Stavros as an actor and his ability to carry with his personality. There are very few movies I'd just throw on and rewatch after seeing them and this is one of them. I'd love to see more from this group and hope it made enough money to justify it.

    Movie deserves more credit

It's a movie that was a fun watch and a good comedy it kept me intrigued by the characters all the way. It is about two guys who we're in a previous suicide cult thinking to start anew

The movie definitely deserves more credit than it does because of the way the story goes along and how it keeps the viewer entertained by the change of scenery or introduction of a new character.

I expected a B-movie for some quick entertainment for the background, but instead got a super funny movie that really shows that the writers/director know that it's a comedy and made sure to remind you of that! It was a classic stoner movie to me.

    Stavvies big adventure

Big fan of Stav's famous podcast, Crumbtown, where Madam is a gay bug, Brick is a Chinese man with a small benis, and Stav is the fattest man in the world. I'm watching the movie now and there are a ton of laughs. The laughs represent the approximate weight of Stavros.

The jokes are funny. Some of the scenes are absolutely looney. The writing ... Tells a story. The acting... Is done. Stav isn't the best actor, but he's one of the best in this movie. Some of the cameos or supporting roles were a very nice surprise. Ethan Supplee, for example, could be arguably the Stavros prototype. If Stav was born 10 or 15 years earlier, he might have also kickstarted a respectable acting/comedy career with Jay and Silent Bob.

It was a funny movie that I'd love to watch again.

Someone is clearly trying to sabotage the ratings

I had low expectations for this movie going in and it blew my socks off. It was AMAZING, IT WAS EVERYTHING A COMEDY IN 2024 SHOULD BE. Laughs throughout, it had a great story, character development, surprises, plot twists, the ood guys come out on top.

To think this movie was dreampt up and made by a comedian and a couple of producers that did short films for $300k A bagel with shmere is $8. What they pulled off is nothing short of incredible. It looked and felt like a real movie, for me and my era, it's up there with grandma's boy, pineapple express, The lowest anyone should rate this film is an 8.5, that's being a harsh critic, rented it on date night and you found out she was banging your best friend, that's a spite score. I was shocked to see some of the ratings for this movie and I think there's a organized effort to try and tank it (not cool at all) one site said 30%, I have to go the other way and while I would rate it an 8.75, now it's a 10. Do your part, watch the movie, it's really funny, and then leave honest reviews with 10's. We won't let this gang of negative Nancies win. We are all we got in this world, we owe Chip, he'd help us out the same. Ten/Ten 10/10.
