"Mayashalik" is a dark time story of sweet love. I was immersed in a romantic story throughout the film. I did not understand when I was drowned from one time to another.

Apoorva is always the best in romantic roles in acting. Abhi has played the role perfectly. The whole time he gave a whirlwind. And Sadia Ayman played the role of "Sara". He has portrayed the teenage mood very beautifully in his character. Imtiaz Barshan was an interesting character that you will understand if you watch the film. The rest were fine. The location of this film was very beautiful. Color grading is soothing to the eyes. Background music was fine. Tahsan Khan and Masha Islam's songs are especially good.

All in all an enjoyable content.

Many will say this movie used ideas from some foreign movies that are already popular and well known, But the interesting thing was this movie gave us some feelings that we felt after a long time.

In this movie we hear some dialogues which will stay in our mind for long and romanticism through landline will be pleasing for 90s people like us. If you feel that this movie's story is taken from other movies then that thinking is okay but think about the feelings which we felt in our own way by seeing this movie. For me this nostalgia part was the main thing.

And acting of Sadia Ayman is top notch, also her voice was so soothing that anyone will fall in love without looking at her face.

The story starts of just like any other love story you can imagine. Two strangers fall in love with eachother by talking through phone. Then they want to meet but the (M) main character understand why they can't and that's when the story gets interesting. From a simple love story it turns into a dark science fiction story. Though the concept is not new but it's highly appreciated. People who love romantic genre or people who love science fiction both can enjoy this. I'm really happy to see that it's not one of those typical love that we see often and I hope they tend to bring much more work like this to entertain the audience and progress our industry to a better future.

In a short, the movie is inspired from the Japanese movie, "Your Name", but it's ofcourse not a cheap copy. Except the main concept, everything has been changed. Director has added the bengali flavor, made the chatecters by himself, actors tried their best. Specifically, freshness of Sadia Ayman, keeps the audience spellbound. Ziaul Apurba's acting was perfect. Choosing of location, background score is above average. Background score is average. Explanation of the time line crossing can be explained in a more detailed way for better understanding. Someone may found some loopholes and contradictions if they dig into the science fiction concepts.

First of all, let's talk on Sadia Ayman's acting skills. She really pulled up the skills here and there. And, about Apurvo, it's nothing new. He's versatile and impressive.

Other sides that should be praised are the choice of location, background music, and detailing of time phases. They explained the time cross connection in a detailed way that we can understand it far better.

Each scene is perfectly done, and I felt I couldn't skip a bit as it was engaging. I truly enjoyed the new concept here and the way it was presented.

Thanks for the whole team for gifting us a masterpiece like it. I don't know why I'm so late to enjoy this one.
